Aaron Pico is 4-0 vs the current US Olympic representative at the weight Zain Retherford. He could’ve won 4 NCAA titles and been going for his 2nd Olympic Gold medal this summer if he had gone the college/Olympic route. The minor league MMA route seems like mismanaged talent to me.

He's only got one or two more fights left on his Bellator contract. If all that goes well I don't know how long he will be in the minor leagues. He's had some bad luck with injuries and just maturing in general but this was an excellent performance and it's really only a matter of time before he gets a look at the title and bigger and better things. His story is far from being complete.

Aaron couldve finished the fight earlier by taking the back and constantly threatening the RNC. That will wear the guy down having to wear essentially a backpack and cause him to get sloppy and give up the choke or arm bar/triangle. Having the back is gold for grapplers in MMA

He used to be a super cool humble shy dude to a fault. I knew him for years saw him around when he was still wrestling and boxing amateur at wild card . He become a major egomaniac prick he’s at holly holms camp now he really let fame and money get to his head . Now he thinks he’s to big and bad for everyone he’s with hollys camp and doesn’t talk to anyone who’s beneath him .

Even if he was the same fighter it would be the same outcome, pico was putting hands on him in the first fight he just made a mistake that cost him and got caught but pico is still the superior fighter over all

@ I ended up reading that he completely separated his shoulder and had reconstructive surgery. The hip rotation on his left hook isn’t the same as it used to be. He looks like a traditional Thai fighter now.
