Ryan’s non-verbal acting is superb! If the “eyes are the windows to the soul,”’ then Ryan’s portrayal of Robert says it all!! His eyes tell the story.. total panic, fear, devastation, and despair, realizing that his world has imploded, that all the good things in his life will soon be gone, and he is trying to act brave n not let his loved ones suffer by knowing the truth..while at the same time him realizing that this is one mistake (unlike so many others he committed) he won’t be able to make it go away or talk himself out of the punishment! Great acting by Ryan! Totally devastating to viewers who are seeing the sunset of the Robron love story for perhaps eternity! 😭😭😭

Seems like a waste to have Robert going to prison for life when he didn't even get to actually *kill* that rapist. So the rapist still goes free, and Robert's facing prison for the rest of his life? Weird flex, Emmerdale.

Robert always imo should admitted and took responsibility for Katie. But guess reason he wormed his way out of it is because he knows he not be forgiven like St Andy doing awful things. Because his family disowned him in the past.
