@diascrive kinda hard to win big games when your defense gives up 40+ in the NFC championship. When is Rodgers Rodgers gonna get another top 10 defense like the one Brady got this year, the Packs had a chance to get Khalil KNOWING the Bears wanted him too, but they just let him go to a division rival while the Pats go and get Josh Gordon. The Packs have done nothing to supply Rodgers with appropriate talent capable to contend every year. Rivers has a studded roster, Mahomes (bad defense) had a studded roster, Brees has a studded roster, even Cousins has a good ass roster that CASE KEENUM was able to take to the NFC championship. All while we got the "star" Jimmy Graham 💀

When Rodgers threw the pass against Arizona to almost get in the Division Championship a few years ago, Collingsworth was doing the game. After the pass he said something to the effect of: (not a verbatim quote) there aren't but a handful of QB's who could have made that throw. I'm not talking about a handful of QB's playing now. I'm talking about a handful of QB's in the history of the NFL. Brady would not have been in the handful.

Aaron...Wisconsin here. Sorry things in the NFL started this way, but maybe it was fate and meant to be. And this early humbling (in your own words) experience made you what you are today; the best damned quarterback around! Packer fan here since I was born, and that was 1960. I was privileged to see LEGENDS at a very early age, and almost took them for granted. Then the 70's and 80's came, and along with 'em the pain. You went through some "humiliation" (again, your words) in that draft, and had some rough years sitting behind legendary Favre. But REFINING GOLD is not an easy process, and that is what you've become! Pure Gold for the Green & Gold, my man. Always a pleasure to watch you in action, brother!!!

DropShotMLG Pardon? Rodgers' pure talent puts almost every other QB to shame. His lack of Superbowls is much more an indictment of the Packers as an organization not putting talent around him than himself. He carries that team to relevancy year after year. Manning couldn't win more than 1 Superbowl without a monster defense, and Montana and Brady are both beneficiaries of Hall of Fame players and coaches surrounding them for their entire careers, including themselves. Put them on the Packers right now, I bet neither has very many Superbowl rings to their name.

@5:03 Actually Rodgers did just fine in his first season as a starter. The Packers struggled but not because of Rodgers. He led the 5th-ranked offense in the league. He threw for over 4000 yards and had 28 TDs vs. 13 picks for a passing rating of 93.8. That made him the 6th ranked QB in the league ahead of such players as Matt Ryan, Donovan McNabb, Ben Roethlisberger, and ... Brett Favre.

Individual play is rated upon statistics, making players around you better and the eye test. How many rings you have is not part of it great TEAMS win those if you don't understand this your probably not an athlete. Rodgers excels at a rate no other quarterback has ever done it, there is not a single play another quarteback can make that he cannot throwing the ball, not a bad runner either... But he makes a play almost every week that no other quarterback has ever been able to.

Broc Becker and I hate when people say tom brady is better then Rodgers, t brady is one of the best bit he has one of the best if not best coach to ever be. Also Brady always has a good defence to support him.

IHCTerra Packers D below average the only reason they seem good at times is he keeps them off the field, its simple to me like this can you name me one play that Brady has made that Rodgers cannot? When your consistently the best skilled player at the hardest skill level position on the field, and your play gets better in high leverage moments; what else is there to talk about. P.S. I love me some Tom Brady but he just isn't in the same class. But he has a beautiful resume.

Broc Becker, take 2011 for an example. They averaged a max lead of 18 points in 4th quarters of their games. For the first 3 quarters they averaged giving up 3 net points per quarter. After building their huge leads, they gave up an average of almost 9. Meaning they averaged giving up as many points in prevent as the did the other 3 quarters. The still averaged winning by more than a TD. Rodgers doesn't make them look better. He makes them play prevent a lot and it hurts their stats.

Aaron is the G.O.A.T people just overlook him because of his lack of championship wins, but looking at stats and just pure talent on the field he is easily the greatest of all time in the qb position. But hey Pat Mahomes may take that title at the rate he’s goin

@Jamieforeals5 жыл бұрын
Robert Kelly I agree, this defense is good but I know it has a lot to work with specifically in the run defense and we’re still letting guys stay open. I would say we need the ILB more than WR but if we can get someone who can go deep like Jordy could that would be a bonus for the offense paired with devante when he’s healthy
@sixohtwo125 жыл бұрын
I'm always suspect whenever we made the playoffs in years past because of our defense. But I haven't felt this good and confident since '10. And this defense better than that year, especially the fact they're young and haven't reach their potential yey

Aaron is incredible but his receivers are also the tops. And everyone on the team knows the rules and uses it to their benefit. You go offside on Rodgers and it will cost you 40 yards or a TD whichever comes first!
@RYMAN13214 жыл бұрын
But then why have the Packers underachieved in the past 10 years despite several promising 10+ Win seasons?
@bridgefin4 жыл бұрын
@@RYMAN1321 Depth of teams. A spectacular pass offense is only part of the game. You need a solid running attack so the defense won't always expect the pass. You need a great defense to win games. The Pack are excellent just not all around tops.

You can't single handedly BLAME ONE PLAYER for Championships...You think TB in GB wins 4-5 rings with what AR has had to work with...???? He doesn't even get to 6 wins... Show me where TB won a title with a bottom tier defense...!!!! I'll wait....
