Did you guys watch the game? The Vikings didn't "take out his plant leg," it was a very iffy call like those PIs. You also noticed Rodgers was hobbled, but did you guys miss Darnold getting hit in the ribs? The turtled up and laid on the ground. Did it cross you mind that maybe Darnold wasn't playing well because he was in pain? He was missing on throws bad.

I think Sam Darnold had a rib injury. He just didn’t look right. Hopefully he’s going to be a lot healthier against the Lions in a few weeks.

how do you go the full analysis of Darnold without even acknowledging that Jones was out injured most of the game. it's a pretty clear factor affecting the minnesota offense, but you put it all on Darnold.

Analysts are pretty much all morons. The term "rookie mistake" is so used so much just because, but if any veteran QB throws a bad pick, which they all do, it's not a "rookie mistake" for some reason. Darnold had a mediocre game you could say, but when the Vikings needed a drive late in the game, he delivered. Wasn't his fault his back dropped a pitch and they turned it over early in the game. The Jets have a really good defense as well, and plenty of other QB's struggle a bit against top defenses. No QB is really good every week, it simply does not happen.

Rodgers is old. Brady is the only exception of a QB playing well in his 40s (and 5 years in his 40s at that!). Getting Adams will help a little this year, but he's not going to put the Jets over the top, with the way Rodgers is playing. Yes, the team can better pass protect, they can run better, and catch better, but he was also missing alot of throws and not calling the right protections. The interceptions today were not the fault of the receivers. You're going to hamstring the organization well into the future as Adams is going to demand a new contract (all his guarantee money is up after this year), and he's 31. Garrett Wilson, Hall, and Sauce will be up for contracts as well so not sure trading 2nd rounder, and paying Adams top WR for the next 2-3 years would solve Jets issues this year or the near future.
