Being a lifelong Packer fan I’d like to think the rivalry has transcended hate and is now one of respect and mutual admiration. Oldest rivalry in sports and we needed each other to do it this long. I love Bears week! There’s a reason the Top trophies in the NFC are named after a legend from each of our teams history!
@gdeezy
@gdeezy 2 жыл бұрын
There is no reason to hate the Bears anymore because they haven't done anything of note to even be mad about. A favorite writer of mine Vic Ketchman has explained that this shouldn't even be considered a "rivalry" anymore because the Bears have been ass for the last 15 years. The only rivalry in the North is with the Vikings because they actually compete. Sometimes...

@@gdeezy I mean I am a Packers fan, but the Packers were ass for a few decades as well back in the 70's and 80's and the rivalry lives on. It may be dormant but come on, you felt it in that NFC Championship game in 2010 in Chicago. The flames may have died down but the embers are there, and they can flame up
@gdeezy

@@tonyschwandt5467 that's not a rivalry, that's insecurity. A rivalry involves the worry of being embarrassed by the team you loathe more then any other. The loathing is there but the Packers haven't been worried about the Bears in a long time.

Packers fan from chicago here… Unfortunately it hasn’t transcended hate, as bears fans continue to hate the packers around here. People will say “I was brought up to hate the Packers” as chicago locals. I’ve always thought it was not a two way street. Packers supporters don’t hate the bears as much as bears fans despise Green Bay. Must have to do with all the winning and the historic culture around success, but the psychological aspect escapes me.

So Levy comes in for one play, has a big gain and then was taken out. My aunt and I just started freaking out about it, then I started chanting "LEAVE IN LEVY" over and over, then the people around me started chanting, then the people around them started chanting, then before we knew it the whole stadium was chanting "LEAVE IN LEVY" Levy got put in after and leads a TD drive in the 4th quarter, only TD I can remember happening the whole game. Another above average show as Pat likes to say - keep it up boyz! Been an entertaining football season so far!! I may have to break into Twitter just to see what you guys got going on -but with Aaron talking about the balls - when you fill up a ball in a warm building then take it outside to the cold of GB - gotta take the psi down significantly...

Great interview, but I want to hear more discussion about the books! It seems like you're crunched for time, so give it it's own segment to actually dig into the meat of the books!

@@tharengore7215 It's not about getting the book content from them, but about actually hearing their perspectives on it, what personal lessons they've taken or plan to take from it, what they saw as profound, and hopefully expanding our appreciate of the books by hearing others talk about it.
