Two things I have to say about this topic: 1. I had the delightful opportunity to pickup Dr. Jordan Peterson in 2018 from the London Heathrow Airport and drop him at his hotel in London. With Dr. Peterson I had the most amazing conversation for more than two hours because: a) Being from Romania he was very interested about the years I lived in communism and how I end up living in the UK. b) I had no idea at that moment who Dr. Peterson was. After we said goodbye in front of his hotel I've googled his name but the shock came next day when KZbin recommended me his videos and the famous interview with Cathy Newman. Dr. Jordan Peterson is a such a wonderful and humble person and he has my gratitude for life for helping me understand the wrong things I've done in my life and to fix it and to make peace with me and the world for a better future. 2. I had the same delightful opportunity to pick up Jimmy Carr from a BBC tv show in London in 2019 and drop him home. He is the nicest, coolest and clever guy I ever met. Totally different from what you see on the stage.

He's wonderfully, refreshingly - courageously even - honest, especially when he speaks so articulately about the impact of his mother's death on his entire being. That's hard to do for most of us. ''the opposite of addiction isn't sobriety ; it's purpose'' -Jimmy Carr and Jordan Peterson I sat down 4 days before this video came out. I spent a couple of hours and mapped out what I wanted for my life. I've since stopped two nearly life long addiction WITHOUT EFFORT, where as before I could barely last two days. Funny that I stumbled upon this quote. It is true, and the biggest revelation of my life so far. Imagine how much funnier he'd be if he told jokes at the expense of the Left as well as the right. But then as he's learning you get cancelled for doing that. Smart career sticking to the easy targets. He just needs to concentrate on Christian, American South and Trump jokes again - and the left will allow him to return to being a Celebrity Lovie once more.

I think the best thing about this interview is that no matter how famous or successful or rich you are you can always sound like your microphone was purchased in 2009 at a RadioShack. This video was really good to see (and hear) since it wasn’t done in a way that is contrived or snarky or arrogant despite it being conducted by a Harvard Professor and an intelligent and successful comedian. For the conversation to last longer than an hour and have it be interesting is pleasant.

In other words, the more people distrust their fellow citizens, the more dangerous any form of insult is regarded and vice versa.
