Zach Wilson is 24, he came into one the worst offenses at 22 with a rookie offensive coordinator and no veteran presence. Zack Wilson doesn't have to "suddenly become awesome" for the Jets to succeed. He simply has to not make unforced errors. It appears that he has a running game which is something he's never really had. I personally think that Zack is CAPABLE of being the "game manager" type of QB and with their defense AND a running game that may be enough. Time will tell.

I'm not sure Jameis has a higher ceiling than Zach. Zach has performed terribly, but we've never seen more than like, 2 or 3 quarters of Zach playing to his strengths, period. Call that bad decision making, call it bad OC'ing, call it what you want. But in the flashes he's shown (far too infrequently coming out of year 2), his ceiling is astronomic, his idol is Rodgers and when he's comfortable it absolutely shows. Jameis is coming into year, what, 9? He's not developing further, he's never going to be more than what he is. His ceiling is 30/30. I say make the best of what you got, and what you got is the world's most overpaid QB coach and a boom or bust prospect in a situation where his play directly correlates to how confident he is on any given day.

Fair or not for ZW, it's on him to lead the team now in what was supposed to be a red shirt year under AR. If he completely implodes and plays like the end of last season, then I'm afraid that's it for him. But I feel like he's already turned the corner somewhat from his early play so far. Stay positive.

@@Noctem_pasa I shouldn't have to explain to this at all. You're comparison between Jameis and Zach doesn't work, we get it Jameis threw 30 30 in 2018-19 that but that was 5 years ago I don't know why yall keep bringing that up. You've never seen "Zach play to his strengths" because he was constantly showing his weaknesses and the offense play better without him. Jameis can start for a few teams, including the Jets who won't have issue putting Zach to the side.

I honestly think this is the best thing for Zach Wilson. He’s going to take this team on his shoulders now, and I’ll say this…..they have the playmakers to make the playoffs. If they stay healthy, i.e. GW, Breece, Dalvin Cook…..these guys will help Wilson grow, and if he can throw less picks than Josh Allen, they gotta shot. Especially with that defense.

Aaron loves the attention being a QB offers. We still don't really know the extent of his injury. If he doesn't have surgery in the next day or so (complete tears require surgery in 48 hours), that will indicate a lesser tear which can benefit from rehab etc.

I don’t like Nick acting like he’s been calling this injury all year he literally did not. He just didn’t believe in the team like Brou said when they brung up Tua and Jimmy they mentioned injuries. Never did nick mention injuries with Aaron Rodgers this off-season. He just always wants to appear right all the time.
