This is one thing that surprised me from Aaron and that I’m learning from him, most guys after an embarrassing loss, will tuck & hide. You’ve seen them vulnerable, they played like crap, the team made mistakes, but he gets on here with no shame whatsoever. He views it as a learning experience and a chance to get better. A defeat highlights your weaknesses and let’s you address them and improve for next time. I love these episodes.

Most great competitors HATE losing. Rodgers has certainly gotten more patient with his team as of late but as a Pats fan, I've never minded watching Belichick and TB12 act like the world ended after a loss because A. The greats always get pissed losing at basically anything that's competitive, nevermind an actual game and B. I knew it lead to them destroying a team the following week(Not many back to back Ls in 20yrs.) Aaron has his own methods and they've worked well, I salute him.

The whole knees feeling better after removing tape off the ankles is a real thing not just a placebo. I recently took a class on strength and conditioning. Basically it was an athletic training class. Essentially the ankles are a mobile joint and knees are a stationary joint. When mobile joints are restricted, their neighboring stationary joints take on a lot of the force from the movement that the ankles were supposed to take and since they are supposed to be stationary, they become soar and hurt more.

Love this quote: "...it goes into the 'why', which is the most important thing in football, and often in life... what are we trying to accomplish... and how does that affect my specific role... that is the 'why' part... It's not just understanding WHAT you need to do, but WHY you need to do what you're doing, and then what to expect, which will change what is drawn on the paper to what actually needs to show up in live time..." This applies to nearly every choice as you go through life, including finances, home life, the workplace, etc. Pure gold, and couldn't agree with him more. I've gained a good deal of respect for Aaron Rogers just from this well-worded breakdown. Some people think this might have been a vague answer, but man, he absolutely nailed it (without throwing anyone under the bus).
