It's true that Adam saved Aaron's life but he was then prepared to stand back and watch Aaron throw that same life away, either in jail serving a possible life sentence for attempted murder or on the run. It was admirable of Aaron to want to help his friend but if Adam'd had any decency he would've refused to accept it. And just because your kids are grown doesn't stop you wanting to protect them or stop them making mistakes like taking the blame for someone else's misdeeds.

Thanx 4 staying with Aaron's story cuz I started to watch 1 month before Marc left.That must have been a difficult decision with that kind of story but it was so incredible,as was every clip including todays.ED is 1 hell of a show and you've been a 'best mate' right to the end.

Here here . Adam rescued him when he tried to kill himself. Rescued him from depression. Helped him hook up with Jackson. Stood by him after Jackson's death. If Adam had gone to jail, Aaron would never have forgiven himself because he realizes that he owes his life to to Adam and paddy.

ED is on fire right now! Well to be honest it is the ebst soap to since 2010 or so when all the Aaron storylines began. Last year´s live episode was fantastic. And the end of Cameron/Chas/Debbie storyline we are witnessing now has been very powerful, including you know which death.

Never in my life thought a soap storyline could have had this much of an effect on me. Followed aaron's story right from the very start and will continue to watch emmerdale for years to come. So glad that Chas let Moira and Adam have it right between the eyes. Adam tried to kill a man and allowed his best friend to take the blame. Now Chas is having to live with people thinking her kid is an arsonist and fearing that the police will one day catch up with him. Moira and Adam must be deluded to believe that a simple sorry would make up for that. If they really were sorry they'd have told those detectives Aaron lied and Adam was the real culprit but I guess they're just not that sorry.

As much as this is a soap, I think everyone is forgetting that it is Aaron who made this decision. And as he said, he'd spent his whole life wrecking other people's lives and NEVER had to be eld accountable for it, yet Adam makes one mistake and his life would have been ended. We may not understand his logic and htat's because his love for his friend goes way beyond what most of us can even fathom. It makes him a remarkable man. And sometimes you do allow your friends to carry you.

Clearly Chas has forgotten that without Adam, Aaron would be dead. He's the one that saved his life and now he's paying him back. She needs to realize that Aaron is grown and has done what he thinks is best.

Thanks for uploading the Aaron storyline. :-) If/when Chas has an affair with Cameron it is going to have one hell of a fallout. While Cain has a lot of flaws he has supported Aaron time and time again and yet Chas is now embarking on an affair with his own daughters boyfriend, while his grandchild is extremely ill. Debbie's mom is also Chas's closet friend not to mention the rest of the family who will likely side with Deb. Still this said I still can't pity miserable as sin Debbie very much.

Yeah sorry I don't care what Adam has done for Aaron to me it's ridiculous to even think anyone could even possibly see this side of things when someone not only tried to murder their brother but their own son ended up taking the wrap for it. I don't care all that crap Aaron spouted about one mistake, what Adam did was awful, he burnt down Debbie's livelihood while she is taking care of a sick child and tried to murder a man. Aaron's best friend or not Chas does not have to be okay with this.

I must have been affected by this story because when I went to work today I had train this kid who at first I thought looked like Danny Miller. But as the day went on I realized that it was just the buzz cut and beard. The kid was cute but he was no Danny, plus he socialized to much. I had to remind him that he wasn't there to talk to staff, but to work with our kids. But have to say i did do a double take when I first saw him. Not so, he tried to turn himself in many times. Aaron always stopped him. He knew Aaron's plan was to go and do what Hazel told him to do which was to live a full life. Something he could not do in Emmerdale. Great job, new country iwth a great guy. You think he'd have done all that if Adam was in jail. Life is messy and we live in the gray

Certainly a tough call for anyone to keep quiet about what really happened. While some are doing so to protect themselves &/or a family member, others understand that, to Aaron, this was perhaps his one chance to repay someone who saved his life & because of his own guilt over Jackson. If Cain is alright with it, so be it. Anything else is just revenge, not justice. Adam will have to live with it all - that's true justice! "Tis a far, far better thing I do than I have ever done."
