Agreed! Especially a boyfriend he hardly knows. But, at the same time, I wonder if he should put him before himself, though, because it might be good for Adam, but it's a lot for Aaron to be missing out on. I was never a fan of Ed, if I'm honest, but moving to another country and working a job in rally should be something to pounce on, and his family was always going to be there for him to come home to at the end of it all. Still, I'd take their bromance any day of the week, and I reckon if Adam had known then what was on offer to Aaron, he would have told him not to be an idiot and lose out.

Love the way Aaron comforts Adam - he's like a brother to him, always has been. As for Ed, I'm sorry but he was never right for Aaron. He was needy and pushy and jealous over Aaron's closeness with his best mate and he was constantly trying to make him choose - why do that to someone he barely knew? Aaron shouldn't have been put in that position. His loyalty was to his best mate and Ed didn't like being second best.

Anyone who paid attention to Aaron's mental state following Jackson's death knows that Aaron was not prepared for any of that. Aaron felt he deserved prison because he truely believed that assisting Jackson's suicide was a mistake, not because he was prepared to deal with the consequences. Why do you think he got so upset when Adam said that everyone would be better off without him? Aaron knows first-hand that all suicide does is hurt those who love us. That's what he needs Adam to understand.

What is the big deal with Aaron going off to France for a year? It's not like he has any great ties to home, like kids or even a job. On top of that he's being given a great work opportunity, so even if he and Ed didn't work out he could always opt to stay on, or return to his mum who he knows will always have a room handy for him. Life should sometimes be about taking chances not always choosing the safer option just because it is safe.

This is so much more complicated than Aaron just being in love with Adam and choosing him. Look at his face when Ed leaves. He wants Ed but Adam is his friend and as he says he owes him. He also knows from experience exactly what Adam is going through and it's effecting his judgement. Shielding Adam from what he tried to do is not helping him. Adam needs to admit to what he did and seek help the way that Aaron had to and I think/hope Aaron is going to understand that and do something about it.

SPOILER ... Ed sure is jealous of Adam. If Aaron and Ed had stayed in Emmerdale they may not have made it because of Ed's jealously over Adam. Even when they go to France and Aaron leaves because of the facebook thing, the first place Ed thought Aaron would go is to Adam. A jealous Ed is a cute Ed though. (I would still have paid this soap opera to have Aaron and Adam kiss just once.)

Exactly. But it's the fault of the writers of not creating a real storyline for Aaron & Ed, something the audience could root for and support. They knew Danny Miller was leaving in April and could have given us a short but honest love affair that showed the maturation of Aaron, and his recognition that true love is out there for even him, and then had him leave. Instead we, the viewers are offered this half-baked romance, with two appealing actors being wasted in a shallow storyline. Boring!
