What you probably don't understand is that these two guys have played on bigger stages than you will ever play on. So, they know how to play music. When we shed it is for iron to sharpen iron. Nobody is going to do ALL of these licks on a gig. Type in Aaron Spears Grammy's and you will see how he plays JAMES BROWN's song perfectly and adds one of these chops at the end of the performance.

Here's a thought. Why is it that every time I visit a page featuring musicians it turns into a debate over who is better than who or someone decides to dissect the musicians and point out "flaws"? Why can't we just appreciate someone's gift without having to compare or prove our musical knowledge? How about we post something as well for people to enjoy and learn from?

um eric moore is very fast in relation to his size. Aaron Spears is fast but he's not the only insanely fast drummer that's bigger than average size.

If you can't take this vid for what it is, two musicians who happen to play drums, having a damn good time, then quit watching. Nobody put this vid on here for some knuckleheads who've probably never played live to critique. Quit hatin' and go practice...then maybe you can put a vid of yourself on here...for some ignorant mufucka's to hate on cuz they don't get why it was posted. Peace... And thanks to whomever for posting a good vid for me to watch...
@ace1990booter16 жыл бұрын
they're brothers.. of course they're gonna sound somewhat alicke!.. cuz i can guarantee u that aaron took some chops from jamal.. just like YOU probably try to steal BOTH of their chops! lol.. dont hate.. cuz what if that was u people were talkin about like the way ur talkin about jamal????

To enlighten most of you guys, the way pocket is communicated is so overrated its sickening. With enough practice for any good drummer, pocket(good feel coupled with good time), comes with the work put in just like anything else. Only an amateur would think that only certain drummers ("the gifted", or "the not gifted") would either have the talent or not have the talent to play like this. There is no such human beyond the possible attainable performance level that enough practice cant produce.
