Aaron Tveit is honored in his hometown of Middletown, NY on 8/31/14 with a street named after him, Aaron Tveit Way. It is located in front of the Paramount Theatre, where he performed as a teenager.

The best part of this clip for me, is about 1 minute in. All these people want to touch him and hug him and he's having to bounce around the ropes. Then his mom touches his back in a tender way as if to say "I'm here." It was a gesture of gentle grounding in the most motherly way. As a mom, it made me love her.

This makes me cry! He is truly the sweetest human! And to see his parents so proud! I've been a huge fan of his for years so its really special to see where he's from and surrounded by people who have watched him grow. What a beautiful moment!
