I love seeing how the shoppers stop trying on clothes and stick with Tveit. I love watching him singing this song in all kinds of venues. He subtly changes his approach for each situation - yet maintains a consistently true and charismatic performance each time.

One of the best concert performances I've seen. Even good broadway actors tend to just sing when they do concert versions...this is true acting IN THE MIDDLE OF A DEPARTMENT STORE!!! Aaron is talent, beauty and class all in one person.

i don't think it's just the quality. it's an absolutely horrific note to hit and it's unsurprising singing it at the very end of this song everyday tired him out, but the truth is he does very often go flat on it.

Idina Menzel wasn't in the original Aida, unless she was some of the ensemble, but I doubt that, with her voice. the original starred Adam Pascal as Ramades, Heather Headley as Aida, and Sherie Rene Scott as Amneris. But I have seen photos of Idina as Amneris
