I consider myself someone who’s always been pretty selfless. But as of the last couple of years, I have experienced someone who has capitalized on my naivety. When a cunning person knows you are selfless and uses it to their advantage & then you find out years later, it hurts. My emotions rage at me to stop being so selfless and learn to serve the self a little more. I don’t know what the balance is. I thought Jesus’s message was to love all - even your enemy. I am seeing that I have an easier time loving someone who is blatantly horrible than someone who wears a nice guy mask but has selfish intentions the whole time. To me that’s been the hardest lesson that is still ongoing. I hope this video will help me gain some new clarity. About to watch it now; thank you Aaron!

Hii! I was thinking about this issue the other day and it occurred to me that it's not about practicing selflessness in action towards everyone but more about getting aligned internally and then following what feels inspired - and that inspiration might lead you to offer service to one person and steer clear of another, otherwise we miss the wisdom side of it. In other words, it's not your actions that are going to liberate you from the matrix, aligned actions are a natural consequence of maintaining an aligned state of being (getting in tune with your emotional guidance system). Put yourself in the shoes of one who is willing to use deception and manipulation for personal gain. Feels sticky, no? They’re stuck in a mindset. Simple as. Are you rejecting the idea that if you believed what they believed, that you’d act the same way?

@@pablodominguez6776 I don’t reject that idea. But what is the practical thing to do when it’s still ongoing as it is currently? Do I just seek to understand and love them, and let them keep taking advantage of me? Or do I flee this situation and reject what they are doing to me? If it’s the latter, isn’t that technically a form of nonacceptance? And if it’s indeed the right thing to do and leaving gives me the liberty I long for, then does that mean changing my external situation is a necessary thing to do to foster a better internal state? If that’s true, does that challenge the idea that everything is internal/everything should be loved?

My whole heart gives you thanks Aaron. This video is life changing for me. I have never come across anyone who has outlined emotions for what they are, how we can understand them and see them as messengers in our emotional guidance system. This is the transformational key I've been seeking for my 63 years of life. Im not sure you fully appreciate how monumental this is. What you have revealed in this video and the immediate effect it has had on me. Through a betrayal trauma I experienced some years ago, I went through a period of anger and rage so powerful it was of a cosmic level. It felt it had the power to create or destroy the universe. So much power that control of ones actions was teetering on the edge of not possible. Only God knows how I got through it without creating hell on earth. It could easily have been such a different reality I am now living. This video has given me so much insight and understanding that has never been so simply explained to me before. I struggled with bulimia and other addictions for a long time. Everytime I look into myself and what's underneath this I feel a profound sadness. I've been feeling and feeling , and learning more about spirituality , but it feels like this sadness isn't really moving . I've tried to accept the emotion as best I can because if it doesn't want to go away maybe I can just be at peace with it. I literally feel emotions burn out of me too, so I'm surprised how this sadness comes back, even if I'm aware of my thinking as the sadness is there, it's so persistent.
