Is there any possibility for power up to it? Looks like a nice one but less than 12 fplb is diffy for rabbits, here in Greece rabbits are near 4 kilos!!!

@@nicholaschristophorou3087 yeah I fail to see how this can terminate a rabbit effeciently. I dont think I would use anything under 12lbs for anything bigger than a rat.
@nicholaschristophorou30874 жыл бұрын
@@R1davies Well it actually can but rabbits in U.K. are small just near 1,5 kilo and the hunting ground is not brushy enough to hide a wounded rabbit away from sight. After research for tuning up this air rifle I fount someone here in Greece who owns one of these tuned and it's 20 foot pounds tuned up. I'm between this and the hatsan 95. 25cal for this purpose...
@R1davies4 жыл бұрын
@@nicholaschristophorou3087 due to the "grain" of the .177 and the foot per second achieved at 12lbs I wouldnt attempt any hunting activity unless it was maybe a test to see if i could hit a mouse at 50metres. The rifle here, and many others, can be tuned as you suggested. This obviously increases the fps and the impact velocity. In the U.K. it is advised to get an F.A.C licence in order to have a rifle at over 12lbs. I would suggest this rifle would be capable of being a MORE effective hunter with BOTH a calibre increase to .22 (or even bigger where available) AND increasing the FPS to suit an animal of +2.5kg's. Honestly...Save up your money. Get an FX impact 2 and keep it for life.

@BedsitBob4 жыл бұрын
Put some tall mounts on, and you won't be obstructing the loading port. The mounts I have on mine give 21mm of clearance, between the top of the receiver and the bottom of the scope (28.5mm between the highest point of the loading port and the bottom of the scope), and that is more than enough room for putting a pellet in, and I don't have long, skinny fingers.

Is the moderator removable or do you have to 'Remove' it?
@BedsitBob4 жыл бұрын
It's not a moderator. It's just a plastic shroud, to stylise the end of the barrel, and provide somewhere to mount the foresight. It only extends beyond the end of the barrel by about 6mm. Personally, I'm thinking of removing the shroud, and having the barrel threaded 1/2" UNF, to accept a moderator.

Yeah but shooting a 100+ fpe airgun in a barn or close to the boundary where you have permission to shoot will just get you in trouble with the law, then you have to consider if there's livestock near by. Shoot small game with a rifle that powerful unless it's at long range it will pass through the animal probably. You need the right weapon for the conditions.
