Welcome to "The Daily Drawing". In an effort to combat creative block and broaden our visual library I have an exercise for us. Each day (Mon. through Fri.) I will pick a new subject from my Daily Drawing Jar. Then you and I will go and find visual reference of that subject and spend 15-20 minutes drawing our own versions. This will be a fun way to broaden our artistic scope and hopefully improve our visual library.

I just got a new sketchbook that came in last night and this prompt is perfect in keeping me entertained in getting it started. I've been hooked on some previous prompts too lately so this series is very valuable, thank you for making it.

Today I learned that crabs have 10 legs! Two claws and eight for walking. How interesting. Thanks, Aaron.

You put a lot of beauty today in my world, dear Aaron.* Especially loved to see your progress with the colours and the finishing touches with the mask for depth of field. Best regards from Germany 👋🏼 * It really means a lot. The last days here were devastating concerning politics. We fight it with all our power and energy, but it almost seems we are repeating history. So you are the highlight of my day and remind me to draw. Which is balsam to my soul.

It's a beautiful creature! Very colorful, I like it! I saw Aaron in August at a special animation video conference in Moscow. It was very soulful, and in this video, I feel it again. Aaron, thank you for your art!

I remeber starting drawing a couple years ago fascinated by your Art. I got so frustrated bc i couldnt handle that im just not good at it yet. So I stopped drawing for like 3 years or so. Now I'm somehow motivated again and started learning it from scratch. I'm starting to learn how to draw people for now and just the fundamentals but seeing your art again also makes me wanna get back to animals sooner or later^^ I'm sad that you cant buy your 100 drawings book, bc for nom I'm doing traditional art rather than digital and I feel like the art book which is available right now is more on the digital side
