I just watched you recraft 1:37 these Alden Boots and I was shocked when you pulled the canvas cover off and didn’t rewelt it back in the boot. Alden puts that canvas in for a specific reason and I’m surprised you don’t understand that. I have watched many of your videos and I think you’re a good cobbler but not a great cobbler and this is just one of the reasons.

If you're talking about the canvas that reinforces the Gemming, it's still in there. That canvas is under the cork, you can iss it when he puts the new cork in. What he peels in the time stamp you put is the leather sole, which is two pieces.
