*These shoes definitely needed a new welt! Good call! They had seen better days! Plus they had a decorative stitch on it, besides also being directly stitched to the shoes. The new welt looks way nice and more polished! Overall the shoes look awesome! That mirror shine is incredible and beautiful!* *3:19** I saw this. It looks like a piece of canvas was laid down, and cork was smoothed over top of it. Was that from a previous cobbler or by you? Was it to reinforce the area to make it stronger? I noticed it looked different than the other shoe, where you lay a normal piece of sheet cork. I'm learning all kinds of things 😊!*

Alden shoes / Boots always come with that piece of canvas , I just glued it back but both shoes had it and they look the same .

Yeah you’re welcome,if you pay attention you’ll notice that the foot bed is extremely clean because it’s totally cover with that canvas .

Hola amigo, excelente tu trabajo; noto que todo tiene solución con los zapatos. Tengo un problema con unos Allen Edmonds con suela híbrida y es que la goma de los zapatos está despegándose y rompiéndose dejando la costura intacta, es como que la goma se estuviera destruyendo ¿qué se debe hacer en esos casos? Gracias
