Hey seinheiser, maybe you could tweak the firmware or provide a little tweaking tip for improving the 'air' frequencies of the accentum tws? I bought these little buddies but am not satisfied with their sound quality out of the box. I love seinheiser though, and wouldn't want to switch to other brands. Don't disappoint me and several other customers buds. Everyone is rooting for you to do some magic behind the curtains.

The Momentum 4 has serious bass i like the design better on the a Accentum but I'd be worried that it wouldn't have enough on the low end. Thanks Aaron nice review. 💯👍🇺🇸

Listening to this on my B&O X, and both competitors sounded inferior, but the TW4 is a little less so. Just kidding. The TW4 is a great pair of headphones and I'll definitely be buying them in Amazon's next lighting sale, to replace the TW3 which I loved, but whose battery recently failed. How's the comfort? That's the whole point of these...i tried momentum 3/4s like 5 times they are unruly painful and uncomfortable...comfort is one of the biggest selling points of this redesign definitely a major talking point missed there... Love your content!

How is the sound and volume of these earbuds, are they loud enough without having to put it on max? Because I've owned several earbuds and most of them were low in volume and close to useless when in a noisy environment.

Pretty undecided on these ones. I have just ordered M4 but I'm still wondering if Accentum was a better choice. Apart from phone calls in windy weather and differences in app, i feel they are pretty the same. Accentum seem more comfortable, they give me the impression I can lay my head on the side without getting ear pierced... and that little more weight on mid tones remembers me of Akg sound, which i like. Still unsure if i will unbox M4 or return them, Sennheiser really filled the gap between the entry level and top-tier here.

In term of sound quality absolutely yess. In term of ANC i think its tie. Transparancy linkbuds S better. Comfort Linkbuds S is top notch. Its very comftrtble and light.

I don’t know why after the legendary momentum 3 headphones with phenomenal vocals and instrumental presence sennheiser has opted for veiled mids tuning in their current momentum lineup , especially in the momentum 4s Momentum is their flagship wireless series and their mids should sound divine like the IE series IEMS and the HD 600 series . Not like others brands !

You must be living under a rock as Sennheiser has been known for recessed upper mids/ lower treble for years now. And that’s across all their IEMs, wireless or wired. All four MTW earbuds have this similar scooped presentation between ~2khz-6khz. Never liked it. Their wired IEMs like the IE300 and IE900 have similar issues. This is part of the reason people have praised the IE600 and eventually IE200 because there’s finally a somewhat more natural pinna gain with more presence in this region. It’s a shame because the MTW4, for example, look to be tuned really nice but this scooped upper mids is a fatal flaw for me and others. Then the still limited EQ can’t address this much, of course.

@@HitaarthBhutani It’s up to you. The IE200 does have a bit more of a natural pinna gain in that ~2khz-6khz region compared to the MTW4. But the MTW4 looks to have bit more lower frequencies. So by comparison, the MTW4s sound bassier and warmer while having that recessed and more relaxed upper mids. Vocals and lead instruments sound odd and pushed back a bit. The IE200 sounds a little less bassy. They can come off as more clear, a little louder and even more analytical. They have more natural sounding vocals and lead instruments. These two earbuds are essentially opposite where one (IE200) gives you a bit more vocal forward sound especially since the lower frequencies are relaxed. The other (MTW4) is the opposite, relaxing the vocals while raising those low frequencies. Measurement data is out there like on SoundGuys’ website. I have seen some measurements from DHRME that seem to show that both these earbuds have essentially identical low frequencies. I’d count on SoundGuys though as they’re using a B&K 5128 measuring rig. If I had to choose between the two, I’d go for the IE200. Though I’d rather get the best of both worlds with the IE600. But if you want the huge convenience of wireless earbuds, there’s way too many options to settle for the MTW4.

It’s a weird price- for $50 less there’s the nothing ear 2024 which I prefer the sound to momentum 4, for $100 less there’s the One Plus Buds 3- or if you’re spending $200 you probably have the money to go up a tier too so not sure why you wouldn’t just go for the mom 4

The status ANC is a no-brainer. They sound as good as some seriously expensive buds. So much so that unless you have a pair of the most top of the line buds,I can't understand why anyone would have anything else.

The sound personalization made all the difference for me. Matt’s then stand out from my cx plus. Way better than airpods pro 2. Have a similar sound to my old galaxy buds plus but with more bass
