Ark: How To Build A Beach House (With Water Pen)

This is my first build on the Crystal Isles Map it's a detailed tutorial for a Beach House it has 2 floors and a small water pen below the House for the smaller sea creatures like the Manta! Hope you all enjoy it!!

Such a great build, the only thing that bothers me is that the graphics are weird when it comes to the water, I don’t like how the walls are sumerged in the water and still looking like their dry af, that bothers me so bad, but I wish I could build as good as him, great job m8

Heads up if 12 mins in the catwalk part won't work if your boards aren't going the same way it is in the video I had mine lines on the boards going = that way instead of up and down so it won't click in and the only way to fix it is to take it apart so hopefully this helps someone cause it would of been nice to know that

Water may be too shallow there for sharks? But maybe. Lol If so, switch to stone or metal for pillars and structure pieces submerged. Though, I've seen mags beach themselves or fly up over water pen walls. Ark certainly keeps you on your toes.. with uncertainty. 🙄 Could tame those mags to guard base. Your own shark pool. Lol Upgrade them with laser beams later with tek.

Hi Aaron, 2 years later and I am trying to build this beautiful house - and I am really not that good on it ;) But it works so far - but when you snap the wooden catwalk (12.00) - it will not work for me - its not chaning, snapping or else - I can put it the "original" way or when turned - than only the long catwalk is possible. Is there a way you can check and tell me if I am doing something wrong or if it its not working like that anymore. Thanks a lot

I had the same problem if the floor piece isn't going in the same direction as his it won't snap in the logs have to look like a line from top to bottom not side ways

why do my pilars stick through the ceiling on the ones where u place the ceiling first, then a pillar in the middle, more pillars untill they reach the ground and then remove the top pillar. Both at 5:50 and later

Built the whole thing but when I went to the shore on the dock the last two cellings and stairs to the beach vanished and now it says I can't put a celling there what happened? Edit: built in the exact same spot

Strange try deleting the pillars where the ceilings disappeared then place the 4 pillars again this will give you the snap points for the ceilings

It's Ark being Ark you could just place them at the end once you have finished the full build that will work

Really love your constructions! I'm trying something on the pve serveur where I'm playing and discovering the game since few days. But, I have a really BIG problem with constructions which really make it a nightmare! If I put a second level, if I put roofs, I can't put ANYTHING on the floor which is at the same level than the floor. I'm just so! It's horrible and I don't understand! I'm in the obligation to wait and think in advance what to put at the first level, then after put roof for a second level in the house, otherwise I'm fu*** and can't put anything. WHY??
