I have the F10 disc and love it. Mine came in at over 17 lbs with Sram ax’s 12 speed zip 302. I was surprised by how light yours is at. It’s a great all around bike and I ride a lot of criterium with it.

It isn't that light. This is clearly a fake frame bought for 1/10th the cost of a Pinarello and he guessed at the weight from the press release (bare frame without paint etc). You can see the Made in Italy sticker on the downtube that is added to the Chinarellos, and the paint looks terrible.

Those tiny wings are not affecting how the front end feels. I mean, that's impossible, that a quarter inch flange catches that much wind to affect the steering. Otherwise, good review.

cliff cox I would love to know if they do because I certainly feel like the wind can sometimes catch the front end while descending. The point of them is to be more aero and do something or other with the air flow, so steering could be effected the wind. I have a review of boa dials verses lace up shoes and the boa dials adversely affect the airflow and are slightly slower than lace ups. You would be surprised how much little things can affect air flow on a bike.

It just smooths the turbulence from the tips of the forks, which even they say is just a few watts. Physically, a small flange cannot create enough lateral drag due to the small surface area to affect the front. I think it's just your subjective feel that you're attributing to this feature. But, otherwise, great review.

cliff cox it could be, but I have a Colnago V2-R and the first thing I noticed riding it was that this wasn’t an issue. It doesn’t happen all the time either, it just depends on the wind, there is a noticeable pull or push rather going into a corner fast. I would love to know why this happens with the dogma.

Hmm, interesting. But, other than this extremely strange conclusion, fantastic review.

Great video.and.great build. But you buy a dogma with your heart not your head I am currently debating on a f12 build or just get a s works tarmac Dogma just so beautiful though
@CarbonRider15 жыл бұрын
both are great bikes. The Tarmac is lighter. If you can test ride them, see which you like to ride best. The dogma is a prettier bike though.

Frame weight 130grams? You mean 1130grams. Plus forks circa 380grams uncut steerer. Seat post circa 220grams. Also with a very keen eye this frame is not a genuine frame but a copy.
@CarbonRider15 жыл бұрын
yes I know I corrected it in the description months ago. I meant the frame is 830g, that doesn’t include the fork, etc
@gbugg13615 жыл бұрын
Riding Carbon The frame weight quoted by Pinarello is a totally bare unpainted frame & quotes their smallest size of 42cm. I would suggest your frame as video'd will be circa 1150grams. The F10 is a great allrounder race bike..certainly a good 200grams heavier than a number of some other brands/models but the F10 rides sublime. English 1.370x24tpi BB threads I take it. Genuine Pinarello's ALL have Italian 36x24tpi BB threads. This said your bike looks great, same as a genuine.

Thai Bug G it’s not a fake, it was ordered from my local bike shop that is a Pinarello deal. The BB is a kogel bearing BB. The frame weighed in the store was 830, minus the fork.
@CarbonRider15 жыл бұрын
Thai Bug G it is also registered with the serial number from Pinarello.

Riding Carbon Genuine F10's do not have a 'made in italy' decal on the seat tube. The shops scales are out. If it was 830grams it would be lighter than an S-Works SL6 Tarmac which in your video you rightly say is lighter.

may i know the tire clearance for this? will a 28mm tire fit?
@CarbonRider14 жыл бұрын
Rodel Castillo it depends on the width of the rim and the tire you are using. A narrower rim will make a 28mm rim have a more narrow profile and be less than 28mm, while a wider rim can make a 28mm tire sit wider than 28mm. For the most part yes, but some rims and tires will be very tight in the frame.

How did you film your legs at the beginning with one hand while your biking
@CarbonRider15 жыл бұрын
Dx Avery I flipped the camera upside down and locked the gimbal and rode with 1 hand on the bars to keep the bike stable, but as you can see, it was a little shaky

Tyres puncture or not?
@CarbonRider14 жыл бұрын
I'm assuming you are referring to the tubeless set up. Yes, tubeless do puncture, but the sealant usually seals punctures and I usually don't have to pull over to fix a flat tire. There have been occasions where I slashed a side-wall and had to put in a tire boot and a tube. I like being able to ride lower pressures, which make the ride just a bit more comfortable and I don't worry about pinch flats.

The F10 first came out in 2017, and this was the 2018 frameset. The F12 came out in 2019.
