When I saw this video was about blue velvet shrimp I knew it had to be aquaticarts. Ive purchased from them since 2012 when they didnt even have a website. They have an amazing selection of invertebrats. All kinds and colors too. 10/10 would recommend.

I have to confess that I don't have an aquarium and have no interest in setting one up. So, why did I click a "like" and watch the entire video? Because the thumbnail attracted me away from a completely different topic and the excellent quality of the video kept me both interested and entertained. First up: your camera does a great job of keeping things in focus even when you move the object very close to it. I can't count the number of times someone posts a video with long segments out of focus. It's annoying. Second: your delivery is smooth, active and entertaining. Finally, and this is something most KZbin publishers, including myself, fail at: you chose an outstanding soundtrack for the background audio and you didn't play it too loud. This elevated your video to the professional level. Good work all the way around!

This is like vacuum bag dust. I wet a paper towel and lay it down over the fluff when I empty the vacuum dust in the can. This way when u open the trash dust doesn't puff up every time you open the lid.

Just to help you I live in Arizona around the cactus the wood you purchased in this video comes from and to pronounce the name of it you replace the double L with a y sound so essentially Choi-ya. Your blue velvet shrimp are gorgeous and I cannot wait to have some of my own once my aquarium has cycled as well. I have been very concerned with purchasing my shrimp online and having them shipped for the shrimps safety but your video has showed me it is much safer than I had originally realized. Thank you.

Wow, beautiful and very active. I put together a shrimp tank today, from cleaning the aquarium and stand, repainted the stand and aquarium trim to match match my TV room , lol, Installed and added sand and rocks, used new water and water from my other aquariums along with a sponge filter, drove to the creek and caught my shrimp and minnows, snails 🐌 ,, All in 4 hours .🙂👍. ( I was seeing if I could pull it off in one afternoon, it's been 8 hours so far and everything looks good and healthy. ) It helps to live in a state that has a mild climate and also has wild shrimp and other cool tropical fish .

Good job! I like your style and what I loved most was your simple (old school) tying the drip hose to get a nice slow acclimation. Too many people today think an airline hose is slow enough but if you have a small amount of water like you had, it must be slower or it's pointless.

Aaron, you also use a petri dish to feed the fishes? Same here, mate. But I have a large clear plastic square tube where the bottom is cut into archways and the top is about level with the water surface. The bottom of the tube rests inside the petri dish so that any foods with be dropped in, including pellets, frozen foods such as blood worms, shrimps, that when they dissolve they slowly fall to the bottom and into the dish where the fishes can eat it without wasting it because if the foods are dropped in the tank, they fall everywhere by the flow of the filter water, pushing it in places hard to reach. Even those good looking guys, the Corydora catfish know where the food is. In a few days all the fish get used to it and go there for a meal. They all congregate together to eat. Some even go up the tube to get to frozen food, then return down and out without panicking. They're used to it.

King Commit you should be able to, bettas aren't aggressive enough to try and eat them in most cases and if you get shrimp this size, they shouldn't be able to fit in their mouth Bettas might eat the fry though, so if you're going to breed the shrimp you need to put the fry in something else until they're bigger
