One can tell you're a true perfumer! I loved Intoxicated on the opening, but on my skin in dried down wayy too powdery for my liking. As you said "7 outta 10"

With few acceptations I am not going to spend a lot of money buy an expensive frag for a 50ml bottle unless the concentration is so strong you can get away with one spritz to last the day/night. When you lay down big bucks you want to feel like you at least got your money's worth.

Vanilla wasn't mentioned on different forums. I am very glad and satisfied that I have detected vanilla raw materials in this personally. I really appreciate the honesty and your experience. I personally really like the formulation. I think the formula is built nicely, because I simply like that dry airy effect to it. I own a little 5 ml sample of 'Intoxicated'. Comparing to Naxos...oh yes, Naxos is better technically. Great review Aaron!

Synthetics can be expensive or cheap. Most designer offerings are unwearable once you’ve tried some quality niche. But then of course if you’re stubborn in your ways or just stingy with money you’ll keep glorifying your old favourites and laughing at “snobs”. This is one of the only fragrances EVER where I could say I liked the "inspiration" of it significantly more. Alexandria Fragrances "007" is inspired by this - cardamom bomb balanced out by nutmeg, coffee and cinnamon... I love it for fall and spring... I wear it on occasion in the winter as well... but mainly fall time and early spring. It doesn't have insane performance... unless I spray my collar as well, which I don't like doing too often. I get a good 6-7 hours out of it before it starts to fade from the skin (still not bad)

You can get a much better price for this (and other Kilians) if you just buy the refill bottle. If packaging doesn't matter to you, just buy the refill which is significantly cheaper.

He said it's a dark scent that would go amaizingly on darker skin types. I'm brunette and i found it wonderful, the idea to wear dark fragrances on my skin, so i've bought it 😁❤ And i get more pride eversince to wear black orchid and any other dark scent, cause he's right, it wares like a second skin

Anyway, it makes sense to me since intoxicated is a "clone" or is similar to A*Men, which shares similarities with pure Havane, and finally, Naxos is said to be similar to "pure Havane". So, I guess Intoxicated might share some similarities with Naxos.

I really like about 10 of the Kilian scents but they are definitely overpriced. They do what I wish general designers would do though. Kilian and the Tom Ford Signature line i think are atleast coming up with concepts or ideas. Something I thing is a bit lacking with what you guys/gals across the pond would associate with high street brands. It almost to the point where I think they need to create a higher end general line for high street, to atleast give consumers unique, signature worth fragrances. Something not quite so niche or private blends, but not everybody's version of Sauvage or Invictus
