After trying for years to find an alternative, I have stopped because there isn't any. The best thing I did was instead, just purchase two bottles and I overspray (5-7) mostly on clothes and honestly, it lasts long (8 hours) but 6 hours on skin. This fragrance has so much depth and it's the ultimate fragrance for me, being sweet, warm, yet also fresh at the same time and having this feeling like, when you take your clothes out of the dryer and you smell warm detergent phenomenal freshness! It's difficult to describe, but you'd have to test it out. So yeah, no alternatives available, so will stick with the original.

Agreed. This is my favorite fragrance off all time I’ve tried poker face and it’s nice but lacks the magic and I tried Al caprice which is just a spice Bomb not as smooth and seductive as La Nuit. This fragrance can’t be duplicated its 1/1

This one is one of my all time favourites. I'm wearing it right now. I haven't worn it since winter but it caught my eye today and I thought I'd wear it for a change. It's not as radiant as I'd like. More of an up close personal fragrance but it is so lovely. I absolutely love it!

The goat scent. I do 15 sprays some on clothes some on skin and it smells beautiful for about 4 hours. Good enough for me and I don’t like fragrances that last all day.

If you want to boost this scent then apply the deodorant on like a roll on. Then spray on top. You can also use the gel body wash to help too. When I was on a train a woman next to me said " You smell so good" This was the 2011 formulation. Alternatively, you could go with Midnight Rendezvous by DUA . That is supposed to be the original La Nuit de L'homme. Quite good.

Great review! You should review La nuit d lhomme le parfum. Its darker and less sweet, personally my favorite from the whole line. Underated gem and had better performance too.

Yeh, Jodie Marsh. Her media persona was "demented raging sloot". But I saw her on an episode of come dine with me, out of character, and she was a sweet, thoughtful hostess and a lady. A woman who has really designed her own life.

This fragrance gets me compliments from people who never complimented anything else. Especially from women, they love this stuff. Spray 9-12 times and you’ll get the performance you want. I imagine layering this with ATH carbon would also work great.

I got the bleu electrique one because I couldn't find the original. It smells really nice still but the longevity for me is around 3-4 hours then there is no sillage, so it kinda makes it just a personal scent, which is okay for me, but I would have wanted it to last a bit longer.

Women always been into what meant to be for men. This doesn't mean that men fragrances are unisex. And I really dislike when a woman smell kinda masculine. I like the woman being feminine and lovely. Otherwise I could cuddle with my mates 😄😄😄 It's just like... These days women are pushed to believe that they have to prove something. And... I am a bit worried about the traditional femininity. Most of the women these days want to prove something that nobody required. It's I guess the wrong signal that they get from celebrities and all this new wave of ideology of braking the genders which in a normal society I don't think is doing us (as humans) a favour.
