I see you found the expected welding panels over rust - garages do this, to palm off trade-ins cheaply and quickly - at least I know they used to. However, if the intention is to preserve the car it has to be a different story, as you know. Nice work, you are very talented.

My mate had a black one back in 2001, got from stockport to Blackpool in 30 mins the 1st night he had it. Was running about 240 BHP. Sounded really rattly. Checked it when we got back on the ramps and I've never seen so much rust on a car ever. Proper death trap. Sweet ride but a death trap lol.
@AaronUnknownPerformance5 жыл бұрын
Most of them are like that they just slap some sealer and fresh paint over it!

This brings back the memories of my old E plate S2 RST I had back in 1996. The rust got so bad under the battery tray that i had to carry around a large sponge to soak up all the water from the footwell every time it rained LOL Definitely wasn’t ideal when I was trying to get my end away with any girl that I pulled,getting soaking wet knees whilst she lay in the comfort of the reclined passenger seat. 😂

Aaron Unknown I do mate spent thousands on it, drove it like I stole it. Went through 6 gearboxes in 3 years. It was running 200bhp it used to spit flames when i was changing gear when I hit the limiter. 3 of my mates also had white ones the same as mine we used to race between the different raves we went too, good times.
