Aaron, what are the benefits of using manual CPC compared to maximize clicks for a shopping campaign when starting out?

Research the average CPC of your products, sometimes it's right there in Ads Manager. And then set it a bit higher. This way you will pay a good price for good visibility. Not setting it manually will get you more visibility, but you often pay a lot more. I paid 3$ instead of 0,60 $ when I ran my first ad

Hello Thank you for the value you share. After connecting the merchant and the Ads account and launching the campaign, I see my merchant suspended at 4am for misleading declaration, right from the first impressions. I've had the same problem with 3 stores. What could explain this? Thank you

Thanks great video very clear. I was just wondering with TShirts. I wanted to set up an Ad Group that just has the 1 Tshirt in it. It does have 96 Variants ie 5 sizes and multiple colors. When i create the Ad Group it picks up all of the Variants so has 96 "Ads"? Not sure what best practice is - should i select just 1 main best selling variant and exclude all of the others or just let the 96 be in the Ad Group. I really only sell 1 main color out of the 96 ie about 5 variant. Thank you so much for your help

Great content, thanks! Would you create product groups for a standard shopping campaign that's been running for 10 months and is getting quite good ROAS? Or would this mess with the campaign and possibly have negative effect?

If your standard shopping campaign has been performing well for 10 months with good ROAS, avoid creating product groups if it's not necessary. Changing a successful setup might have unintended negative effects. Contact me for personalized advice if needed.

Under the menu item Campaigns there is no Ad groups and no Ads, I wonder if Google changed everything again or something else is going on

Excellent ! Just one question. Reply if poss :-). Can I use "Traffic" as my objective to generate sales ? I believe the only disadvantage will be that Google will not show me any conversion figures is it ? Because even at the "Goal setting" step after selecting the "Campaign Objective" and before "Campaign Type" wherein I select "Purchase" as the goal, it wont trigger , is it ?

I believe that "traffic" in it self is not a rialable goal for sales. You need to steer the Google algortime towards your end goal. Otherwise you give the it to much freedom to burn through your budget generating low quality clicks.

You can't. For shopping campaigns the main targeting comes from your product titles.

Your other tutorials are great. But for someone that's so new to google ads, its really confusing when you blur out the information and do something in the blurred out area. I basically did not understand anything and got lost when you started doing that. It was kind of annoying having to rewatch and still not understand a thing.
