The FCF that helped me the most was #7, that one had a really good showcase of some very difficult waves and how you handled them. I was terrified of going for the infernal cape but after watching your guides it gave me so much confidence, very well done!

Hey aaty, I just wanted to say thank you so much for these guides. Last weekend I decided I wanted to get my cape before a tbow, so I started sending it with the bowfa budget setup. In almost exactly a week, about 20 attempts, and 2 zuks, I got it like 10 minutes ago. Your guides were crucial in my development as a player and they were massively helpful in solves and understanding what's going on. I just wanted to let you know that your FCFs are still getting people like me their very own capes, and it feels awesome. Appreciate all the work brother!

I think what I appreciated the most about this was a calm approach to the inferno. I don't have to set everything up perfectly. I can take damage off prayer from blobs and be OK (in practice.) Hopefully I don't freak out like I did at wave 60 last night and get a little farther today. Thanks for the video and the guide!

Thanks for the guide! EDIT: I was sure that I wasn't ever going to do the inferno, because I peaked in 2007 and had a very long break. I was sure I wasn't going to be quick enough, but damn was I wrong. Postponed the inferno for years. Did about 20 attempts within 2 weeks and eventually got it. Always failed on the late waves and once on Zuk. Never failed the jads or triple jads. Thanks again!
@Artinusxxi9 ай бұрын
Two of the best tips for me personally from this series, “Use your supplies, what good are supplies if you’re dead”, and, “sometimes the dps solution is the best solution.” The melees in these later waves have been causing me to panic because mentally I’m trying to focus the Magee first to prevent respawn. You’ve shown me you can kill the melee, then move to Mager, then just kill the melee when it respawns. HUGE advice for me. Made it to wave 62. Can’t wait to get my cape.

Hey aaty, just wanted to mention what an absolute godsend your FCF series has been. I've never truly dabbled into hard PvM prior to the Inferno, but I really wanted an Infernal cape. Your videos have made it possible for me, and in just 18 Inferno attempts, I got my cape, and it's all thanks to your series. I used a Bowfa, except I used Echo boots and suffering (ri) because my defense level is 94 and not 99. Thanks again aaty!

just got my infernal cape on my 28th attempt. your video series was by far the most helpful out of anything else available on yt for me learning how to solve waves. the constant reminders to actually use my supplies made me realize I was conserving way too much, when I could've been at least using eagle eye + ranged pots to clear waves 60-64. you really are a legend for making these, i'll be sure to go back to the inferno and smash some combat achievements on slayer task

This was the last video I watched before my final attempt at Zuk as a refresher for wave 69. I was one of the people who put off the infernal cape idea since I didn't have a T-Bow, 99 Magic/Defence, .etc, .etc. All your guides, ( and one from DearLola1 ) gave me ideas and helped immensely in the grind. Another huge help was practice. I cannot stress enough how dying, re-watching your death, and realizing, "Oh, that was stupid. They were off-tick, just flick it." or when a DPS solution actually solves the wave. "Just kill stuff." 31 attempts. 2 Zuk Deaths, 2 triple jad deaths. These are huge demotivators when you think of the time taken, but each death taught something new... "don't be dumb" was a common lesson. 2+ Hour run. (Over a period of two days, Not a lot of time to play) Infernal Cape. Acquired. Thank you, Aatykon.

ive never watched a guide or walk through video this long before... but wow this is actually the best and most informative video ive seen on the inferno..... The biggest bit of advice i took from this was to not be afraid to kill a monster to help solve the wave.... Much love brother and fresh haircut! Do you consider freezing melees as a good way to solve waves? I don’t think I’ve seen you do it at all
@aatykon Жыл бұрын
I personally don't think it's good due to a pretty 50/50 freeze rng - if you comitted for one too many and you get bonked while in robes, its hard to recover. Compare that to pure dps with range tank gear, rigour, 2x pipe at the ready and it's hard to even consider freezing being a viable option.

Thanks to your videos, i finally managed to get over the fear of starting inferno, and managed to get my cape in only 6 attemps! Biggest tips for me (with max gear) was that DPS is a viable solve if really stuck on finding one quickly. during my caperun, i've had 3 times where a melee+ranger/mage we're getting on me, and i couldnt find a solution in time. rigour+BP the melee while protecting range/mage accordingly, and with some BP specs i killed the melee with almost full health each time. Another thing that really helped me in certain situations was being patient. take things slowly, and like you've said a few times over the videos, test things out, see what happens. Thanks you very much!

Aaty my brother, I commented on your FCF #1 video yesterday, but watching again today, doing my research, and a little update on my journey, I made it to wave 60 last night, and I'm having no trouble at all with stacks, mager/ranger/blobs, I understand 1t alternating and have no issues with any of those mechanics, my main problem I'm still having is with the melee. There are certain waves where I feel I can't do anything to trap the melee, unless I want to start tanking ranger hits, or melee hits, which I actually did last night I decided to tank the melee, brew, double bp spec, and was on 70 hp, my blowpipe noodled 0's for about 9 straight hits, then the melee hit me for back to back 40's and I was on 2hp, and didn't even feel like trying because I knew the run was finished. Tanking the melee was honestly my only option as far as I know at this point, but I've only been actually sending attempts for 3 days now. Is there any other tips you can give me for my specific scenario? All love brother and truly appreciate these videos, I have no doubt I'll get my infernal within the next few weeks.

This is far from encouraged, but back in the day i used to record the osrs screen, set protection prayers, repeatedly click on logout while the wave was starting, and my account would maybe take 1 or 0 hits then log out, but on video you would see the spawns. you can then review the video and log in and the same wave positions of the npca starts again after a couple of seconds when you log back in. it would make it so you could devise the best course of action in advance. if it still works, i would advise to only do it in the latest waves

Yo Aaty thank you so much for this entire series. I now am a proud owner of an infernal cape, something I thought impossible last year. Along with your ToB videos, you're absolutely goated

Thanks for all these vids, after dying at zuk 5+ times i finally got a good run and got my cape! Without these FCF vids, no way I would've even tried inferno. Thanks aaty :)

This series got me my cape, and so I can't thank you enough for making it. Took me about 30 attempts due to slow learning, bad luck waves and getting smacked by the Ranger at Zuk. I'm looking forward to going back again someday with a Slayer Helm :)

Thanks for all the FCF videos, these gave me the courage to actually go for it and after something like 25 attempts (including silly deaths at triples) I finally got it!!!

Thank youuu for the videos. Watched most of them and got my cape after two days of attempts and four zuks! Never thought i'd have the cape but you made it so easy.

Thank you so much for these videos. Still working on getting my cape but always walk away from these videos feeling more confident. I have a suggestion for a video now that you're done with FCF series. Can you put all the 'difficult' or 'complex' waves across the series and put them into a compilation video? Now I'm not saying put all your 60-63 from each episode into 1 video, I just mean any wave that was complex or required a quick DPS solution. Just a suggestion. Thanks! Really looking forward to learning TOB from you lol.

Great idea, awkward to run back and find all those moments across the 10 runs though - I will say this particular one had a ton of great dps waves so while it's not directly on demand this particular run is a great showcase.

I got mine recently and used this series to help me. Thanks Atty. Would you consider doing one post-mage update, including echo boots, etc?

After 35 attempts: 4 deaths to triple jads and 2 deaths to zuk, I finally got my infernal cape and if it weren't for this fcf playlist it wouldn't have been possible. Thank you so much for these videos and giving me the motivation and knowledge to get my first cape!!!!

I just got my cape brother. Thank you so much, literally was because of your videos! You instilled a lot of confidence and the grind paid off. It was my 7th or 8th zuk. You're the GOAT.

aatykon, thank you so much for your teaching videos! I always thought this would be impossible for me im not the sharpest player but I've been learning a lot to where it seems possible now, only a matter of time.

Aaty Thanks for all the FCF vids, they've been a great learning tool. I got to my first Triple Jads yesterday and killed them, but unfortunately, I didn't have enough supplies for Zuk. I can taste the cape. It's a great piece of content when you begin to enjoy the learning and gradual improvements made. Will update this comment when I get the cape! Cheers mate!

Just my cape after a long break on my 3rd run back (1st try Zuk, 9th overall). This guide was massive for the Zuk fight. Ty so much

Thanks a ton for the series! Going for a cape had never even crossed my mind, but you made it seem much more doable. Your explanations are super easy to understand and all the little tips you gave helped a ton. Started attempts last week and got it last night after 21 attempts and 2 Zuks :)

Thanks for these videos! Took me almost two weeks, but finally got it done! Wouldn’t have had the success I did without your calm minded approach. Also, pb is better than most of my friends since you shown me it was ok to be aggressive. And in most cases is better!

Really appreciate the content--thank you! I managed to get my first cape after some 50 deaths with your assistance. I may not be the most efficient scaper, but I had a lot of fun! I look forward to returning for the pet~ Thanks again!

1:12:53 that was the most important tip of the whole run thru. I've died so many times so that spawn by panicking now I know standing on edge auto off ticks them and I can flick normally
