Bow of faerdhinen vs Zuk - OSRS Inferno (med level)

This was my first kc inferno on any account, but I decided to learn on a 109 maxed med. Played it safe and probably wasted a fair few ticks as I this was my 15th Zuk attempt lmao.
I was using the "Set Timer" plugin on RuneLite, found in the plugin hub - this has to be turned on manually when the set appears.

Looking back there are things I could improve on, in the future I will learn to flick sets and make sure rigour is actually on :)

Thanks bro, it took me a lot of attempts and over 100 hours to get to point where I was comfortable with getting to Zuk consistently with that many supplies. Learning how to flick prays and not waste pray pots saves you so many supplies! I would 100% recommend watching and studying xZacts inferno guide!

any reason you wait for the second set before you get it down to 600? doesnt that pause the set timer?

It pauses the timer but doesn't reset so he was wanting as much time as possible going into jad (it also adds 1:45mins to the 3min timer when jad spawns)

@@thedenizenkiller5027 there's literally no reason to do this unless (maybe) you have a rune crossbow. Just leave the mage up until 599hp, then you can kill it. you have so much time to kill jad. don't risk getting bad rng on a set when you don't have to

Nicely done overall the bow looks to be better than the acb since you can snipe the healers from far along with never being forced to be use longrange on zuk's jad. Just a quick question however, what is the name of the plugin to get set timers for zuk?

If you have any other prayer on while flicking something else, it will drain as if both prayers are on. For example, if you're praying mage and are 1-tick flicking rigour, it's the same as just having both of them on. If you want to save prayer, then keep mage on and only flick rigour the tick you attack. That way it only drains at a higher rate for 1 tick.

@@astronomicalcorvo1971 it 100% helps its just not 0 prayer like flicking only mage. for that 1 tick you take prayer as if you have both on but you dont get prayer drain of the mage prayer for all the ticks its turned off.

For the caves: always dps the magers as monsters respawning is a huge waste and always kill anything close that spawns east of the pillar. Also just study xZacts guide. For zuk: literally just practice and watching multiple Zuk runs and getting in to the rhythm of moving to the safespots. Tile markers are huge and healers imho are the hardest thing to get good at, running and hitting every 2 tiles with the blowpipe is MASSIVE. Best of luck

Did you have dragon darts in your bp? It almost felt like it would have been better to use the bow to kill the healers. Did you feel a big chance after the bp nerf on the healers?

Yeah I was using dragon darts! To be honest I think I would use the bow of faerdhinen, but the only reason I was using the BP was for the spec healing ability as I wasn't flicking the sets

No meta still the same for max gear but if you dont have a tbow then crystal armour and fbow is the meta, tbow still is very strong in the inferno, almost 2x more dps than fbow on zuk

I just failed my 14th attempt lol, (15th time is the one right!?) absolute trash dps in the beginning so I had to wait for that 2nd set, but i didnt tag the mager first, so the shield had maybe one hit left when i finally did...
