Totally agree. I have used Ritz ZDI, Dzire ZDI, excellent cars. Now , after selling my Dzire, I have purchased Fronx Alpha Automatic, a great car with a reliable Torque Converter and an engine, which is not shared with any other Maruti car. All Maruti cars are excellent and great performers.

Lekin jab accident hota hai, manlo hamari speed 60 aur samne wale ki speed 50 to impact sidha double hoga takriban 110-120 ki speed se tab body sturcture kam ata hai ki kis joint pe (High tensile steel ka use kiya hai) Ussi se gadi ka weight badhta hai. Maruti cars were always safer than TATA cars. TATA cars needed NCAP certification to promote their cars. It goes to the credit of TATA cars that a debate was initiated about the safety features also. NCAP tests cars at 64 kmph whereas Maruti cars are under government mandate to test cars at 54 kmph. Accidents happen at 100 kmph or more. No car was ever 100% safe at this speed. I have used the previous Dzire ZDI for 12 years. It was an excellent car. I replaced my Dzire with Fronx Alpha Automatic, which has an unparalleled engine and performance. I believe that instead of superficial additions, TATA cars would bounce back with better cars.

My first car was Tata Tiago because safety was my priority. When I chose to upgrade my car, I bought Brezza because it was the only car with Marutti that had 4-star safety rating. Now Dzire has joined the ranks with Brezza, making the competition tougher for rivals.

Please be reminded that Maruti had to do improvements in safety features and increased kerb weight by 90+kgs, probably to strengthen the body shell. It means earlier it was not good that is why Maruti was hated coz all its cars were missing the features now added in new Dezire. PS: I used to own Ignis 2018 model till May 2024 which was 3 star rated at that point in time, but used to be afraid of driving it fast.

TATA has been systematically targeting 5 star safety certificate of NCAP, which hardly has any role for city commuters, who are driving in congested traffic under 30 kmph speed. Safer cars are always welcome but the bubble of 5 Star safety had to be punctured some day. We are fortunate to have leading brands like Maruti, Hyundai, TATA, Mahindra and Toyota, which make India 3rd largest car maker of India.

it literally looks like well plotted, even before launching the price list from base model to top model, they have spread the marketing quite well and created the hype perfectly in the market, with this news launch in the morning the GNCAP , they were sure that the news will be louder than usual. It is also surprising how GNCAP got this car even before pricing, normal user launch and everything. It is absolutely good for us consumers that this Suzuki engine 1.2 litre 3 cyllinder will now come with 5-star safety rating, its just that it is all so well planned marketing beautifully executed.

Real test will be done in road. when car will come under tilted truck and the passenger will be come out safely after 8 hours. For ex : in Sub 4 mtr SUV segment, why are people going to Nexon and 3XO also due to the features they offer. अगर फाइव स्टार लाई है तो अब पक्का माइलेज से समझौता होगा अब मारुति की गाड़ी में माइलेज नहीं मिलेगा तो सीधी सी बात है की माइलेज टाटा, हुंडई गाड़ियों के बराबर मिलेगा तो फिर कस्टमर दूसरे फीचर्स और मूल्य को लेकर कंपैरिजन करेंगे। अगर उसमें बराबर निकली तो स्वदेशी को बढ़ावा तो कर ही देंगे 😊

Bhaisaab bura manane ki aavashykta nahi. Safe nahi to nahi thi. Kya unaki ab tak capacity nahi thi safe car banane ki? Kyun indian public ko murkh banaya itne saal?
