Nice explanation. Also, there are two types of "normal" Hybrid systems Series and Parallel Hybrid. In series Hybrid system the engine charges the battery and Battery drives the motor. In parallel Hybrid system, both engine and battery can drive the car - At low speeds, only battery drives, at mid range only engine drives and at high end both engine and battery drive. I am not sure of the technlogies avilable in India. Popular Parallel Hybrid systems are in Toyota Prius and Kia Niro.

Thank you for sharing valuable information in a simple language. We would like if you cover the difference of resale value in all engine types (comparison). I would like to highlight one point in CNG variant, running cost slightly increases for example I was use to drive suzuki sx4 with factory fitted CNG it's average got lower by 2 kmpl in both CNG and petrol also Ac maintenance goes little higher because of the heat generated by engine while running on CNG and most understandable fact is sometimes supply of CNG is mixed with LPG at gas pumps that also harm the engine. But one thing I do agree that it is very cheaper for long run (I was use drive about 300kms in one CNG filling that is approx in just 400 rupees). Hope my comment is useful Now I am thinking to buy a Hybrid or a Diesel suv because my running on an average at least 45/50kms everyday and I also travel out station frequently. I am a great fan of Mr.Rachit Hirani wish his great future and success. Regards Jatin

Engine should not create any issue if kept idle for the time period. 6. Sunroof must. 7. Should not have any service issue. My expectation from you: 1. Please let me know which engine will be best for my requirement. 2. What to expect from a deasel/petrol/ev engine? 3. @relaxingprawn Жыл бұрын
For turbo petrol and standard petrol, the turbo will give better mileage when sedately driven. Flooring the pedal will drop the efficiency. In petrol higher RPM is inversely proportional to the efficiency. And if you choose turbo petrol, always check the weight of the car /power output ratio of your driving style. If you have a harsh driving style you will be lucky to get double digits on your fuel efficiency.
