I’m an out and out DC fan, and this movie is the only Marvel movie I’m excited for because it’s directed by TAIKA WAITITI! Jojo Rabbit nahi dekhi hai kya? He took a subject like Mass genocide and made the world see this event from the lens of a 10 year old German kid . And that film deals with a topic like that with humor and eventually makes you laugh, cry and again laugh. Jab uss actual event ko leke voh itni badhiya film bana sakta hai jiska matter itna serious ho toh ye Thor and Death of Gods ki storyline toh kuch bhi nahi hai. In Taika we trust. And this is coming from a DC-kid (me).

If one can't understand why everyone is skeptical about the movie, just open the very first page of the comic "Thor: The God of Thunder" and you will know..... The screenplay, the narration, and the dialogues send chills down your spine. In some moments, your heart will start to race for sure. That was the first and only time we saw "THE THOR". I am not really excited for the movie but I just wish this movie proves me wrong

Jason Aaron's run is a cult classic and even I believe its nearly impossible to manage everything in one movie and if its 2 hrs long then its even more difficult but Taika Watiti is known for making good movie by destroying comicbook stories and character I am talking about Planet Hulk and Grand Master And I am sure he will do the same here and make a good movie which won't be a masterpiece but will be fun and enjoyable

Who told you that Gorr the god butcher will be cracking jokes or will be present in a funny light-hearted way, from all the test reactions he was deemed as the best villian to exist in MCU, we know little to nothing about his character so far, and I hope it remains the same till movie releases. @@ishaan820 my point is, that almost 25+ MCU movies exist so far, and none took any comic panel that seriously as it is being asked by CBM fans lately. They often mesh several comic book panels together to fit in the cinematic universe. A 2hr movie could always be a perfect movie with doing justice to its characters, just because the comic run was solely focused on Gorr, doesn't mean it has to be translated exactly the same in order for the movie to work else comicbook fans will backlash the movie. That's dumb.

If marvel is building plot for Secret wars like They did for infinity Saga, I can accept films to be normal and not exceeding my expectations! They should know that thor, dr.strange, Peter, wakanda, Wanda and hulk are important for next phase as they're in mcu from last phases! Fans will not accept lose of these characters as after exit of Tony and cap, these are new fan-favourites! All I want that if they're ending a Characters life then it should be perfect like Captains and Tony's arc! Which will satisfy fans! There are alot of things that are supposed to happen in the movie such as Jane picking up mjolnir and her story, Thor with gaurdians, Thor's meeting and fight in New Asgard, meeting with Zeus etc etc. There is alot of stuff in the movie that is going to happen and it seems like Gorr would get 10-15 mins for showcasing his back story (and its not enough). My point is movie's story is gonna be compact. If they truly want to show Gorr and Thor's story they're gonna need atleast 2 movies. I am keeping my hope's low and you should too.

Yes bro i watched full vedio... Even I'm Comics fan... I gave read Jason God of thunder.... And also the new Herald of galactus thor comics which is my personal favorite.. And war of realms... I know how teror gorr is... And the might thor comics also I've competed along with thor unworthy... That comic is straight and teror story... But in love and thunder it gives Ragnarok vibes... But i believe in director taika... He would done any thing looks great... But i was disappointed that movie is only 2 hrs. Could have been 30 mins extra.

Yes... you said it. The whole comic based on Gore's journey, and it was very dark and terrifying. And I think to justify the Thor's effort and Gorr's struggle 2hours is not enough. They can make an entire different movie or series to show the origin and revenge of Gorr. So that people can relate to the character more.We know Thor,We have already seen his journey,his family,love affair everything but Love and Thunder is not about Thor, it's about Gorr. Without showing his metamorphic journey, this movie is incomplete.
