Assembly is definitely tricky kzbin.infoUgkx1N3gatJfHIxCsI2TbcOH1-k8v-EDJ40N but as long as you GO IN ORDER of the steps the booklet has, it’s all good. It took us about 30 minutes to assemble. Although it did come with a defect-the bottom 2 sticks which is suppose to be only for extra support to hold the whole thing together was not able to be put on. They didn’t make holes for it. So there was no way to screw them on. We decided we didn’t need them. So far so good. Everything else we screwed on tightly. We only use it for the basic stuff. We didn’t want to go through all the hassle during Christmas for returns lol. Other than that, we’ve used it many times now, and we get great workouts out of it!

Joanna, thank you so much for showing us "Dead Bug" :), it's the first ab exercise that I can actually feel like my abs are working and not the rest of my body! Also feels much safer on my neck. Thank you

I have bulging disks in my neck and definitely something going on with my lower back, as well as spasticity in the center of my back below my shoulder blades from a car accident 38 years ago. I was in a coma and woke up with severe TBI and partially paralyzed. It took nearly a year to walk properly. Nobody would listen to me about my injuries and ignored my pain saying I was lazy. I've been doing a standing ab workout for 2 months and it left me in alot of pain. I recently changed doctors and I am getting care for my injuries. I've begun resistance exercises for my hips, so now I'm getting strong enough to do floor exercises. I'm going to stop the standing ab workout and try this after I talk to my physical therapist. I have a physiatrist appointment in a couple weeks, so we'll see what she says as well. This video helped me understand how I was hurting myself doing these exercises. Thank you for caring about people with injuries who still want to stay in shape. 😊

I have immense problems with normal crunches, yesterday I tried the crunches with legs raised for the first time and thought this would be a lot harder and make me hurt even more, but these are perfect for me! I really liked the exercise plus I could really feel it in my abs during the workout and now one day after when before I could only always feel the regular crunches in my neck and back. So glad I discovered these!

You are so pretty! Thank you so much! I injured my back 2 1/2 years ago and had to stop working out, forward to 2023 I am now going through menopause at 53, and have mild pain in my lower back with a menopause belly. I'm losing weight but having problems losing fat in the middle. These core exercises look like they will be easy on my back. So thank you again!

Hi Joanna I have been having problems with minor lower back pain, which seems to elevate after I run longer distance (+10K). I then realized I didn't have a good core muscle strength. So your video has been a great insight! Two questions: when is the best time of the day to do these core exercises? Morning? Before or after I run? Also, do I have to do stretching/warming up first before attempting these core exercises? I know that's more than 2 questions. Appreciate if you can answer! Thanks!

I'm able to hold a plank for 30 minutes, yet any sit up or leg lifting exercises put a decent amount of core on my lower back. My form is nearly perfect (before covid I did a lot of ab exercises so I know how to do them correctly) but my back has a natural arch in it. I can't tell if my core is too weak or if it's the arch in my back causing me problems.

I could probably do some of these . I don’t know about the plank , my hips are so bad. That looks a little painful , honestly. I may have to try the “ support “ option , with the leg over . Thanks for posting, this could be quite beneficial. I had a baby 14 years ago and I still struggle to get that weight off ! ( Even my parents tell me I’m overweight... it’s so upsetting.. )
