I can't believe they didn't mention that Brooklyn was Jeff Bennett, an absolute legend who is in practically every cartoon ever made, and quite notably is the voice of Johnny Bravo. EDIT: Or that Bronx the Dog Gargoyle is freaking Scooby-Doo himself, Frank Welker. Come on, Trav! How could you skip those?!

Gargoyles kicked off my love of Shakespeare. Trav mentioned a character called Macbeth but buried the lead a tiny bit, because he's not called Macbeth, he is the historical person on whom MacBeth the play is said to be based. In the fiction of the show, the Weird Sisters bind the souls of MacBeth and Demona (who grow to hate each other) together such that the only way one of them can die is if the other kills them And Macbeth was voice by God damn Gimli son of Gloin. The show actually slaps. I would listen to a whole podcast of Trav watching it and doing talk back episodes with someone who prepped all the inside scoop for hin. Which any gargoyle fan would be thrilled to do.

You seem to be struggling with names. What you explained means that MacBeth's name was actually MacBeth. And the voice actor has an actual name. He's not identified by a different fictional character

So what, the human who named Demona just forgot the name of the character in Othello?
