Honestly after watching the series my heart goes out to AB. He was a kid and his father put immense pressure on him to write that music and when hits happened gave him no recognition and never let him enjoy any of his accomplishments. I can’t even begin to imagine the effect this had on him being so young and impressionable. What he created was remarkable. I hope he gets some therapy because I am sure he is emotionally scared from that. I also felt sad watching the part seeing young kids being hurled from state to state sleeping on the floor of a bus that didn’t even have heat at times. There are child labor laws but not within a family.

Their father reminds me of Michael Jackson father, but like Michael Jackson father he was adamant about them being successful & avoiding his kids being a statistic to perils of inner city life. Mike Jones exactly bro even the father on an interview that was made to him, he said that he took his kid around the rich hoods telling A.B. and Selena and sussete that they were going to have nice houses like that, if they stick to the plan they didn’t have to suffered like he did. So push his kid the be the best version of themselves and people don’t understand that all the good thing in life don’t come by just seating on the couch and just wishing nooooooooooo bro you have to grind and make a lot of sacrifices and go through depression when things don’t go your way, and the way this family went from rag to riches it’s incredible all that pain and hard work paid off at the end of the day, sadly it ended the way we all know but all of them enjoy the success they got Thanks to the vision the father had for them. All I have is respect for MR. Quintanilla RIP our beloved Selena.

Had me tearing up at this end of this interview. "All the people that you have to feed, outside of your family". It's true. AB doesn't get the credit that he deserves. He has a big ego that I guess is warranted. He's a talented guy that you don't hear enough about and who hasn't had the accolades he truly deserves. But he’s got to big up the people that have also contributed. Would love to hear him speak more about the role that Joe Oeda, Pete Astudillo and Ricky Vera played in the song writing also.

And Selena is LEGENDARY! There will never be another Selena or another Selena Y Los Dinos!! Legendary!I I want to thank the Quintanilla family for continuing to keep Selena's legacy alive. I give so much credit to Suzette and the family for making it possible to be celebrating her life after all of these years. Thank you all for allowing us fans to be a part of keeping her legacy alive! I am looking forward to hearing A.B.'s album, the Selena remix album and the unseen concerts that he mentioned, so exciting!! I can only imagine how hard it is losing a sister, a family member who is so known across the world. We've all felt that pain of losing a loved one. But for the Quintanilla's I can imagine how difficult it can be dealing with their loss. My heart goes out to them. It makes me sad and upsets me when the family gets attacked and criticized. Cause I am so excited when us fans get new material, merchandise, and footage etc. of Selena. I don't want her to ever go away! Not saying that she would disappear if we didn't have those things but it definitely helps her legacy to continue and grow. I wish people would be more understanding. Much love to the family and we can't wait to see what you have in store for us! God Bless!

I hate this fool so much, his sister and his dad. How dare you say "that person" when you know damn well that Chris was the love of your sister's life. That man is supposed to be family and that's how you treat him. Absolutely disgusting. And reading these comments hearing this food don't pay child support like what? He honestly just sounds ignorant just like his dad.

Gabriel Zavala has been one of the best producers in the state of Texas for years. He does a lot of work for artists in ALL GENRE'S not just Tejano. The difference between his career and A.B's is that A.B had the help of his sister's career to boost his name. People also forget that Pete Astudillo wrote a lot of the Selena hits also. A.B gets to much credit for her music. Rick Vela was also a huge part of that success. A.B just makes it seem like he did it all on his own.

Because Chris took the golden goose away from their dynasty. Chris was just seen as an employee on the payroll, not an eligible suitor for Selena. It's like a Princess worth millions suddenly falling for a common stablehand and running off with him. Now that she's no longer here, they're stuck with this vato who is her legal next of kin and can potentially inherit everything connected to her name.

I listen to this whole interview. Its sad to hear that the family and Chris don't talk. If Selena would of been here she would be sad about this whole situation. She would be caught between her family and the love of her life. She wouldnt care about the money she cared and valued a united family. The only person to blame is that bitch Yolanda. I'm in Selena side. Hope the family and Chris unite and hope that Chris can freely express his love about Selena without being sued. I admire the Quintanilla family for keeping their daughters legacy alive.

This is the first time i heard you speak and AB speak. And i got applauds both. Everything from Both English to Spanish voice was perfect. And the Conversation was outstanding. I could listening to both of you talk all day and have a piece of mind. Selena will never die, she will live on forever. Because she was to precious to us. In Truth the first time i heard about her was the day she pass away. And tears was in my eyes. The first time i really got to know her and her music was from the movie. Once more it was heart breaking. But i was 25 back then and i never look back from Selena she always still powerful in my heart and her music always get better as day go on. But the question may sound silly no one can replace the original Selena. Yet i see Selena Gomez became as close to the original Selena in many ways. From listening to you both talk. In a respectful ways i believe i am seeing the original Selena through the new Selena. Sound silly. Yet on a high note i love the Selena new Series on Netflix it completely honest to understand just what made Selena so precious and loved. I am glad to see AB and Her family still doing great work and are still strong together in love. Thank you for Selena and a masterpiece interview. Stay bless my friend.

@johnpirillo190

@@thaisrodrigues3880 from what i see they do have many things in common. The big difference is Selena Quintanilla was big with the Spanish community, she was never giving a chance to expand in the English world like they wanted too. Selena Gomez picked up on what Selena Quintanilla would had done. By this to me to keep Selena Quintanilla legacy alive , she live through Selena Gomez. In the music world true Selena Quintanilla top that. Selena Gomez is Good but Selena Quintanilla is much better her family lived for music but in the Spanish culture. And i am saying that out of respect. Selena Quintanilla story must be told so people can think twice before they destroy another. And Selena Quintanilla story must be told because she was valuable to love, peace and life. Even if one never payed attention to her, when they watch or hear about Selena Quintanilla their heart will melt and they will have feeling for her and grow to love her to keep her legacy alive and grow to love her family. This is the first time in 25 years i heard AB, and i am extremely impressed with him like wise with Chris. I heard from another interview. I am impressed with them. I can't wait to hear Abraham much respect to him. But back to the message both Selena has alot in common.
