Peace is one of the greatest rap songs I've heard in a long time. The story, the verses, the soaring guitar, it all shines and blends perfectly. The verse from Dough's perspective was incredible. This song is so motivational and inspirational for me. It's for sure one of Soul's best pieces of work.

I love the new Ab-Soul album. I don't think Ab-Soul using AI for Doeburger's voice is anything like what drake did. I think it's more akin to Kendrick using AI visually to rap as Nipsey. There's a level of respect, understanding, and love with what both Dot and Soul did that is sorely lacking in what drake tried to pull off. I don't know if this is my favorite Ab-Soul album, but it is really good. It's kind of a different lane for him, and I think it's executed well. My favorites on the album so far are All That, California Dream, Don Julio 70, Crazier, and Righteous Man. I really dig what they did with the sample used in How Much A Dollar Cost in that last one.

Since Taylor made freestyle are we going to see of it's use? Just like Drake used it to bring back to life the voices of Pac and Snoop, Ab-soul brind his man back. Mark says it's different but that doesn't negate the fact that Soul may have very much been influenced by Taylor made. Or are we just findinf reason to not give Drake his flowers?

Ab-soul is probably the best pure lyricist out of black hippy. But I think what holds him back from resonating more is his voice. Jay rock, Schoolboy & Kendrick all have stronger rapping voices than him. For example it took me awhile to like Jay-Z’s voice after I heard him next to Biggie on “Brooklyn’s Finest” lol Some dudes vocals just hit harder than others unfortunately 🤷🏾♂️
