Face to face with the enemy: trench battles of the 3rd SAB for the "road of life" to Bakhmut

We are publishing a full video of the assault on Russian positions near the "road of life" to Bakhmut, carried out by fighters of the Third Separate Assault Brigade. The military called highway T0504, from Chasovoy Yar through Khromovo to Bakhmut, "the road of life". The last paved road, which can be used to deliver ammunition, provisions to the defenders of the fortress city, send reinforcements and evacuate wounded and dead soldiers.
In the course of a combat mission, the attack aircraft of the 3rd OShBr enter an enemy trench and, with the support of drones, carry out a sweep under enemy artillery fire, destroying the occupiers at a distance of several meters. The video footage shows the incredible courage and fortitude of Ukrainian soldiers. Competent actions of the commander, coordinated work of the group, desperation, courage, ingenuity and initiative of each of the fighters, and most importantly - high motivation to beat the enemy on Ukrainian soil.
As a result of the successful combat operation, 30 occupiers were eliminated. The 3rd OShBr pushed the Russians away from the "road of life", making it impossible to maintain the route under enemy fire control.
For courage and heroism, eight soldiers of the 3rd company of the 1st assault battalion of the 3rd OSHbr were awarded the badges of honor of the commander of the Ground Forces of Ukraine and presented for state awards.

Ww1 was 100x more intense than this. Nevertheless this footage is a fantastic example of what soldiers are dealing with. I think alot of people watching now realize that war isn't like playing a game of call of duty. Its terrifying but you conquer your fear in order to survive and keep your comrades alive.

What we see here is basically what any random soldier would have seen in ww1 except all the weapons are on steroids and theres literal AI only bots circling above that can kill you

@jef clark yes however the artillery bombardment went on for days on the front lines of ww1 leading to thousands of men breaking under the pressure with shell-shock. Poison gas and machine guns littered all across the battlefield made charging across non man's land almost always suicide. The Ukraine war is bad but the scale and intensity is much smaller. I do agree that precision weapons are terrifying but your chances of coming back alive is still greater in this war than in 1914. Trust me I'm a military vet and historian, I've been watching hours and hours of Ukraine footage since this conflict started. War is terrible regardless but I'd rather be in Ukraine than ww1. If you disagree then it is what it is. But this footage is incredible and I hope non vets can comprehend how shitty war is now.

@@djpaulcfunkeddub3951 yeah but also their survival instinct kicks in in the middle of fighting their brain only focuses its thinking on surviving so i dont think they are scared in the middle of a fight but they def get scared before and when they are close to death and the reason they dont get tired is because the survival instinct also generates adrenaline to the power if they wrestled a 300 pound monster and he didnt have that survival instinct 160 lb guy can kill him with that adrenaline
