AB40 Tournament Match 1 of 5 Ep.156

In this video I have for you the first round of the AB40 (Alpha/Beta 40) World championship held at Dave's Time Warp and organized by Nick L. 38 players participated, but I just recorded the games I will be presenting in this series. This is match 1 out of 5 total I recorded.
As the name implies, only card from the Alpha and Beta sets are allowed, no proxies. This makes this format one of the most restrictive formats in Old School Magic, but it also makes it something very special. Seeing cards that have such historical value being PLAYED as intended (and not secured in a binder) was truly a sight to behold.

Hurricane is such a great card. It’s interesting that earthquake is restricted to one but hurricane has no restriction.
