In the UK, we'd have no chance of driving a machine in that condition. If a vehicle doesn't pass the MOT test (Minsistry of Transport) every year, you cannot drive it on a public road. The test checks the suspension, brakes, lights, tyres, bodywork structure to name but a few. It's a pain, but it ensures all vehicles are in a roadworthy condition.

The obligatory comment for a will it run or clean up KZbin video. “This is the nastiest interior I have ever seen.” Common guys, what old long parked car outside isn’t nasty inside? An early 80’s Camaro RS v6 5 speed is a pretty good score. Especially one that’s for the most part fully intact. While it’s not a v8, these were still entertaining cars to drive back in the day. 138 hp for the v6 verses 160-170 hp for the v8 is not a lot of difference. This is the time frame when 220 hp was a big deal. And that was from a big block.
@RuggedWrench Жыл бұрын
It was definitely a lot of fun to drive 👍 Not the most comfortable road trip car though 😁

to answer your first question...desert storage, so i'm told. I had a junkyard 1969 Goat that avoided the dreaded mildew i get here on the coast. Without any doubt, wear a mask when cleaning out a car--something tells me poor Steve Mags may have gotten his health issue from crawling around too many junkyard cars without one. there's some nasty stuff to be found out there.

#BEAT THIS for bad interiors, i went to buy a 64 Ford compact back in 2012 from a 70-year-old woman she told how in the 90s somebody had died inside and she found them and her story goes like this, 'I went out to the carport around 7am and noticed a hose from the exhaust to a window, and inside was a deceased obese black man, so she rings the cops who after some time sit her down and tell her its not a big black man in the car but her 160pound white husband, she was in denial but the cops explained how this is a common effect from C02 poisoning, and yes i bought it, same seat from the 90s i guess he wasnt in there long enough
