Only Lee could kiss a frightened,stressed out , in pain , traumatised Akita and have her kiss him back. Amazing how he reads dogs so well. She is magnificent, so regal and powerful yet so vulnerable. Hope she loves her forever home. Would love a vid on how breeds like Akitas, Chow, Shepards, and the Huskies and other “ dominant” or independent breeds mix together.

I can’t believe this Akita has 3 pelvic fractures. We had an Akita when I was young and they are so stoic and loving though can be quite protective. Amazing dogs. The females are particularly sweet. I hope she heals well. How dare someone abandon her but so grateful she is with you.

Your heart is so big. I don’t know how to thank you for what you do for these beautiful animals. My own Chow mix came to me when my son saw a car stop on the road and dump him out. Those that love and are thrown away and has their trust shattered are blessed when you come into their lives. ❤

Thank you so much for actually rescuing an AKITA. I have had several different breeds throughout my life and I got my first Akita in 2010. Had her for 10 and 1/2 years. Although I love all animals, I for one will not even consider another breed. They are so loyal.

A Follow up Video as to how KiKi assimilated to being with the other dogs would be great. She's Gorgeous Lee! I'm SO exited for her! She's in extreme levels of pain, a constant stress to her system and seeing her get the medical attention she needs to heal and be free of the most of that will be wonderful! You can tell the environment, her lovely room and terrace, and the CBD has already made a huge difference! To see her already sharing water with the pack in peace and kissing you and smiling says more than a million words. This wil l be yet another important chapter for you all. I look forward to following Kiki's journey to feeling amazing! She's been through so much pain but she's going to get better and have a quality of life she never new. I LOVE Akitas. If you have ever owned one, you know why. We had an Akita/Shepherd mix from the time she was 4 months old until she was 14 years old and she crossed the rainbow bridge. We got her when I was pregnant with our son. She was so good with him. She liked all kids but liked little boys more. I have a picture of my nephew when he was 2 or 3 leaning against her eating a hot dog he got out of the fridge. She didn't even try to steal it away from him. It's been 3 years since her passing and I still miss her, I even miss all the hair she produced and her snoring.

Akitas will always hold a special in my heart. I’ve had one since I can remember & they’re so ridiculously loyal & loving…absolutely stunning dogs. Definitely a lot to handle if you’ve not familiar with the breed & what to expect. She’s gorgeous & looks like the female version of our Akita Kuma. He was one of the best dogs ever & lived until he was 14.

Akita's are awesome very rare to find one now days. I had a Akita German Shephard Katie years ago such a sweet loyal and yes protective dog. We rescued her as a puppy from the Delaware Humane Society in Delaware, Ohio. As with all my dogs I loved her so much. She's now buried under my cherry tree with all my other precious doggies who have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. I am happy that you rescued Kiki and hope she will have a long and happy life with you and the crew. Anna In Ohio

I had an Akita that lost a leg from a car terrified of storms and would bolt,I adopted him with three legs at 10 years old and renamed him NOBEL instead of tripod. Careful he was freaked our by storms,and that is how he got lost. Had him for two great years!

Can you just imagine what the personality of this dog is going to be once he actually feels normal!! What a precious baby. Lee you never cease to amaze me. You're not even slightly concerned about the aggression in this animal when he's not feeling well and it is an Akita. I really believe the dogs just know you're not the average human being and they know they can quickly trust you even when they're hurt and more vulnerable. You've got your wonderful healing powers on another once again. Kiki must be going how did I go from blacktop and dirt to the Palace?

Kiki bear is gorgeous..I've had cats with broken pelvis' from rta's and its just giving them time to heal and as little excertion as possible so keeping her in that room on her own is ideal.. just if one of the dogs jumped on her it could really move one of those 3 broken bones in her pelvis and puncture her bowel or bladder..so much can happen..but she is a lovely addition to your pack and so pretty with the solid face colour being unusual too..she couldn't be in a better place..🇬🇧💞🙏✝️🐾🐾🐕👍👏👏

That was brilliant when she fully licked your third eye multiple times purposely!!! I was blessed with a Plotz hound/Rottweiler -Sadie Mae; we rescued her @ 4months old. She would not trust ANYONE, that didn't let her sniff their 3rd eye/middle forehead. Even the Vet and staff had to do it, or she wouldn't tolerate them. I've fostered a dog with a broken pelvis. She was a tiny Chi!!! She had to be calm for quite awhile.....months....which was hard for her. But she healed. I almost kept her....such a sweetie, but she got an awesome adoption momma who I still hear from. ♥️

My first dog after leaving the Air Force in 1974 was a Akita, all black. Had her for 14 years before God's ugly curse of cancer took her. Its still my hardest thing of my life I had to put her down but when she left, my Egypt looked at me, sighing in relief from her pain and her look took me she said it was ok. I still cry for her.

I rescued my old English sheep dog the day before they were going to put her down and she had also been hit by a car. I brought her home and her rail was bloody and bandaged, she was only a year old. Best dog I've ever had! ❤️ she passed away from cancer at 12 years old
