Sadly last thursday this little monkey girl was putting dishes away and had climbed up on the counter top to put things away in the upper cabinets. A bit of condensation remained on a stack of plates and as the sweet little angel was lifting them up to the cabinets and the moisture dribbled out and the poor little thing slipped, and stumbled right off the counter to the floor with the full stack of plates crashing down with her. She was knocked out and had several deep cuts from the plates shattering and quite a few broken ribs. She was rushed to the vet as quickly as possible. By the end of the first night the vet really thought she would pull thru because she was stable. She lost her battle halfway thru the second day. Her little broken and shattered ribs were just causing too much swelling inside the chest and putting such a strain on her heart that she went into cardiac failure so she was made comfortable and mom held her singing to her until she passed to the other side. She has been cremated.
