ABANDONED Big Kmart - Marshall, MI - Directors Cut

This video will conclude the Big Kmart in Marshall, MI Box Set. The Archived footage has finally been put together. We first visited this Kmart in 2019 and the Lil Caesars was actually open. I have a Pizza Bag in my personal collection. Had a very fun time coming to this store. The Die Hard Auto book is also in my personal collection!

Chalk up another trifecta to the KMART KING! I thought for sure this would be the last KMART standing given it’s in its home state. Now it sits abandoned unfortunately. Awesome abandoned video!

I have some memories of Kmart in the 70s. Malls started to effect their business at that point but I think the real drain wasn't till the 80s and 90s when malls were quite common. Internet purchases also didn't help... The last Kmart in Battle Creek (built in the late 60s or early 70s survived by being much quicker to get to if one had to take the city bus and didn't close until around 2017.

Man, these businesses were thriving just twenty years ago. I miss grabbing an Icee when my mom took me and my brothers shopping for back to school stuff. I wonder what next chain of stores will end up like this, Walmart and Amazon are merciless

I miss this place I remember me and my family use to go to Kmart and there was this really greasy chicken place that we loved eating at. Best food ever inside Kmart. I told my mom that I wanted to make a tradition to go to Kmart for the blue and red light special just me and her . And just hang out together inside KMart . To bad they closed down what a big disappointment to me .

Have ever been to the now closed Kmart in Brockton, MA? It closed in November of 2019 but I have memories of it going back to the early to mid 80s as a kid ☺️

That's unlikely, there is not enough population for the market that Target targets (pun unintended). Yes there's Grass Valley, but Grass Valley is an outlier.
