Please don’t be embarrassed if you don’t know what something is, I appreciate that you are interested in the past ways and buildings/structures! Not many younger people appreciate “ back in the day”; I’m GLAD that you are intrigued!! Us old fogies will fill you in about what something is , if we can! Thanks for the effort you make! Cool that you show the old wallpaper & door hardware etc.

The second book in the kitchen was a Cookbook. Up stairs the black boxes are called 8-Tracks. Have prerecorded music. The plastic keyboard is a electric organ. The RCA XL-100 is a old Color TV. They had a turner for VHF channels and UHF channels. What you called a bunker is most likely a Root Cellar to store non-perishable food. The jars are most likely Mason Jars. To store non-perishable food in.

Cool the way it was built with the porch all around it. It was probably a nice enough house for it's location, back "when." It would have probably been very peaceful living there.

I like the built in cabinets and the old door knobs..the old style faucets for the sink were cool too..i was trying to see what type of metal fireplace screen on the brick fireplace..it looked old...i like the old wood siding..upstairs walls..a lot of this house was original..i wonder what the bunker was used for..brick or stone walls...a little hard to catch while you were filming...seems you missed a lot of the history of this lot..anyhow thanks for the video

Those old jars, they were used for canning what they raised in the garden. What you are calling a bunker, well that is a storage cellar for the canned goods. I hope you are wearing a mask, a lot of mold. God Bless you! (Glen). WV. (Good little video.)

History... really cool! Typically to have A sink and toilet in the basement was A Coal miners house. They would be covered in black soot and would wash up in the basement before entering their home... BTW those "cassettes" you found are called 8 tracks... Straight from the 70's.. That place has been abandoned for A LONG time! GREAT Explore! 👍

Before refrigerators, canned goods ( in jars done there at home) were kept in root cellars . Very cool find!

How do you get on people's property? And where are these abandoned places located in exactly as far as towns? But do carry self-defense or anything. Because that looks kind of scary just walking in like that. Maybe you can help me out about that. Thank you.

I actually had that 8 track tape in the early 70's! This guy need to research the properties before he makes videos.
