I know exactly which one your talking about. I frequent that one a number of times during the week, as I work right down the street from that location! I know there are a ton of other places to eat, but for some reason I'm also going to that BK, so I as well hope they remain open!

I live in the area and pass this all the time. Incidentally another burger king bought this building and it has since reopened as a burger king. There is also a burger king in hamar.

The food was good here when it first opened and once covid hit it went down hill and never recovered they never had beef patties that’s why I started going to the sarver location

i know that neck of the woods. my grandpa, grandma and uncle lived in tarentum. even back in 2006 there was an abandoned thrift store drug store then. it was down the same street where nick's chevrolet is and it was on the right side if u went on the left of the dealer. even further down there is or was a little used car dealer.

They have been closing down all over the place!! Sad. I love Whoppers and the original Chicken sandwich. Ordered DoorDash about 2 months ago and as far as I knew we had 2 within a 5 mile radios. Well I learned different. Took over a hour to get to me and when tracking it came from like 15 miles away. Was crazy and of course stone cold by the time it got to me. Did learn later the 2 close to us had been closed down. I had no idea they were having money issues.

It's reopened under Carrolls Corp (which is now owned by RBI). TOM'S KING just didn't care anymore and let their stores go to shit. I worked at this location under Tom's King for 2 months in 2021. The reason why I quit is because the GM who was only there a month had left because she was fed up with not getting any help from the district management plus she was recruited to work at a Taco Bell store in Aspinwall. When she quit the schedule was never finished and they cut the hours to only being open 7 hours a day. At that point I was already working at UPMC St Margaret M-F and only coming in to work 2 hours a day in the morning just wasn't worth it. Now that Carol's has reopened the place it's been running very smoothly

So, just saw today (12/2) that there are now signs in the grass along the road that they're going to be reopening this BK Lounge; same franchise too. Hopefully they'll be able to keep menu items in stock again because it'll be nice to be able to choose from another fast food joint in town again rather than McD's, Arby's and Wendy's.

This location always kinda sucked. Prior to the start of the pandemic it was the new happening place in town, but during the pandemic with not having burger meat or chicken products frequently, it left much to be desired. At least the one in Plum is decent. Never had much luck at the Harmar one, though, and never bothered stopping at the Sarver one with Shanghai just up the road, haha!
