Very cool story, I properly enjoyed how fun the main character said she was able to fic everythig and use Earth engineering and duck tape. Near the last 20% of the story a lot of the pictures felt unrelated to the main story, or at least like something that would of fit in a different setting.

Gotta be the good stuff! There are a lot of inferior brands of duct tape out there. None of the stuff named after animals, mammal or fowl, is of acceptable quality. Perhaps she needs to market her own brand. Or an endorsement deal.

We used to call it hundred mile an hour tape when I was a kid. Had to be strong enough to hold parts or torn seats together on cars and bikes in the winds generated at full speed! Although not too many of those vehicles would have actually hit that speed, 100 MPH tape just has a better ring to it than 75 or 80 MPH. I was also much more optimistic then….

An interesting take on the "Remove and Replace" ideology that has been ingrained in industry. The entire recover/retask/recycle industry that has grown from it however will not be happy about this. Since it diverts good recoverable materials that recycling companies depend on for their own industry to survive.

Duck Tape . . not Duct tape. . .Cloth names like "Linen", Canvas, "5 pound cotton Duck", 20 pound Flaxen Duck, all types of sail cloth. . .the Language translated to Tailors making and buying roll fabric as pounds per yard, and cloth mesh ply thread count. Hence "Duck Tape" is made of lesser thread count but thicker threads than a "Linen Medical Tape", and the pound weight is why some tape tears easy, and 20 pound duck tape is called 100 mile per hour tape and is hard to rip with your hands. . . There is an Evil Marketing Label calling their product "Duct Tape" . . confusing many people of lesser I.Q.
