I'm stunned at all of the beautiful antiques, lamps, furniture, and woodwork in this place. It's a shame someone doesn't buy it, and restore it....

Wow, this is so cool. I love it when a video can make me feel as if I were there! I had to literally wash my hands after watching this. The body table still had fluid residue, and also the floor looks like it has blood stains and fluid residue too! Ewww, I was fascinated and grossed at the same time..lol Subscribed!!👍👍

How does Something like this happen? I would think there would be heirs, creditors, wholesalers, tax collectors, etc. how does it stay trapped in time for so long undisturbed??? Fascinating.
@beautiffullove48126 жыл бұрын
Private Owners! Has to be or the city and state would of sold everything they could and bulldozed that shit hole to the ground. Eventually the funeral home is bought and privately owned. They usually let them go till someone offers them a nice chunk of change for the building itself or the lot . waste of space used for some high priced bullshit that doesn't need to be there.
@beautiffullove48126 жыл бұрын
Long as taxes are still paid then they can let it rott all they want on the inside. Long as the outside doesn't cause a disturbance.

It could be just old. Some people just don't visit the dead. I once worked for a funeral home that finally was able to buy one that had several issues. My cousin hated her mom no one wants her

I love the chairs with what appeared to be lion heads or dragons. Either way excellent video. I work at a funeral home that was built in the early 50’s. I wonder when this funeral home was built. Maybe the 1920’s or there’s abouts??

This is creepy! Why would, whoever owned the funeral home, just leave it like this? Don't you think that they would try and sell off the remaining equipment and any coffins that were brand new and not sold?

You guys are lucky! I was just there and someone threw a lot of the furniture and antiques around. Granted it was still cool, but a bummer to see how everything used to be left perfectly frozen in time...

A few strange things. The casket shown is a "rental" type unit that would be used to display a body intended for cremation. there is a cardboard insert that goes inside. The body is placed inside the insert. Those dowels visible on the bottom are to assist with removing the insert. That casket looks pretty clean and modern to me. Just 'sayin.Also, there are chemicals and appliances in the embalming laboratory that are not very old. So unless there has been an effort to "stage" some of this, it doesn't make sense.As for the facility and old furnishings, could be a situation where the owner died and there is a family dispute over the estate. The lawyers can tie things up for years. In any event whomever filmed this must have a key and permission or they are illegal invaders on this property. Not something I would want a filmed record of.

cremations. A girl studying to be a mortician showed me around a funeral home one time and they had a whole room of cremation ashes in boxes and urns that nobody had claimed.

limeyosu2000 absolutely yes and just FYI 30% of cremations don’t ask for ashes back! I was horrified to find out!
@jandera14 жыл бұрын
Interesting is the picture at 01:35 is a view of Prague and at 04:24 is in the right corner in the shelf of the box, probably with human ash, with a sign written in chalk K. Vacek. I have to smile because K. Vacek was the author of many popular songs and it was Czech. He is not in the box, of course. I can think of only one, the owners probably came from Czech republic, hence the picture and thus clientele.

The bone shears are there that's for cutting rib cage open to take the organs out to slow down the decay there take the blood out and put in formhylde imbarming fluid some are gels. It's quite dangerous you would have a full face respirator when doing it not sure about that time as its old
