I think the reason we all loved the series, not just because of the car, but because of the circumstances. You rebuilt it, in your home garage. You have no fancy lift or anything like that. It was just a Tennessee boy fixing a car in a shed and also, you did it start to finish. It wasn't like you rushed it, got it rolling and the just gone. I hate that when I get into a car series from like a year ago and then it just stops

I have a lot of respect for you by comparing that beat up car to what Christ is doing in your life. Many people are fearful to say such things for all the wrong reasons. Don't ever be afraid to speak up! Be faithful. God has given you an amazing talent. I have enjoyed watching you put that car back together again. What a sound it makes!

This was a fantastic revival and and the end result is awesome gives us all something to shoot for man. Not every muscle car has to be $50,000 or $100,000 restoration. Well said, my man. Saved from the shredder, made to run like a raped ape, updated to be safe and comfortable, full of character, 100% badass. I think we all like it because, like you said, it's an attainable goal. Most of us can't go to a Mecum Auction and drop $250,000 on a numbers matching '70 426 Hemi Cuda...

You showed me not to be perfect. Enjoy your cars. You never stop learning!! At 55 you showed me a lot. Your parents should be proud of you. Hell im proud of you. Just got finished binge watching your Challenger build from start to finish. It was very nostalgic to me as my first car was a 1974 Plymouth Cuda with a 360 4 barrel, automatic transmission and dual exhaust. I was seventeen. You inspired me to knock on the door of the owner of a dead 1970 Challenger I've been driving by for 15 years, so THANK YOU!!!! ...and as you know, I bought it! The title just came in this week, and as soon as the ground thaws (I'm in Iowa) we'll retrieve it out of the pasture, and then the build begins. Your Challenger was in better condition to start, but the foundation is there, and I've dreamed of having a Challenger since I was 15, and I'm 47 now. I'll be driving the heck out of it by my 50th birthday! Thanks again, Dylan. Had you not made this series, I likely wouldn't have knocked on that door, and another car would have been reclaimed by the earth Cheers!!

Dylan, I just got finished beginning from the first episode all the way to the finale. I swear that I would never expected that you would have taken that rusted old Challenger and do the things you did to it. It wasn't until I watched the Finale that I saw why. You saw something in that car in the very beginning compared to an artist looks at a blank canvas that a potter sees a clump of clay. I had a dream to do the same thing with my son, to restore an old car. Well I lost my son, i never had the money to even begin a project the way you did. I am living in a retirement home with advanced Parkinson's disease and realize I should have done it before now. I did get a inspiration following your project. and admire the way you stuck with it and I know you're not finished, you never will be. I love the way it sounds and runs. Please, keep God first in everything you do.

Here's the quote of the week, it's from Hunter Thompson "44 magnums, Ferraris and Large Harley Davidsons appeal to some people because they challenge their owners' ability to control them." You have a Challenger. You also have a Hemi car with an insane power to weight ratio, like a Shelby Cobra. That car is no joke. Stay alert at all times. Your relationship to the Lord is another good thing to have. I'm glad you feel the way you do. Right around the time your car was rolling off the assembly line, my buddy's older brother came home from Vietnam. He was a little like Robert Mitchum in "Thunder Road" He took his GI loan money and bought a '69 Roadrunner with the dual quad Hemi and 4 speed. All he did was tune that car and race people for titles, (remember, this is 1973, and a lot of the old gladiator mentally left over from the 50's was still around.) They would usually race on the access road at the far end of the runways out at the airport. Ronnie was unstoppable because he was fearless, he was kind of a folk hero to us kids because he'd been to the war, and he had an insane hot rod. What 13 year old kid wouldn't be in awe of such things? A couple of times he let me and his little brother, (we were in 8th grade) tag along with him when he was racing. Riding out there on the freeway, you could feel the G force. It would pin you back in the seat. The point to all this is those newer hemis run rings around the old ones from 1969. Onece you have it dialed in and you're used to it, it's gonna run like a scalded cat. You have great respect for the car, the quality of your work, and the power that lives inside this thing you have made. That's why I'm not surprised to find out that you're a God fearing man, Jesus is working through you in everything you do, ( including buliding a '73 Challenger) and it shows in your approach and the decisions you make. Hats off to all of it. It's been a really enjoyable series, watching you put that car together. Being as how you're in Tennessee, and hearing you talk brought lots of Atlanta in the 70's back into my mind. Stay healthy and alert, Learn how that car behaves, and you're gonna have a blast! Very nicely done.

Love the period looking wheels on this, even though there a bit too clean for the rest of the car they do look great 👍

Finishing with The Blue Danube Waltz was so nice. Thanks a lot for making this project. Many of us were especting more videos but everything goes to an end. It was so nice to see how the car came back from nothing to this. Your passion for the car, for your job, for doing what you like is very inspiring. My best wishes an hopefuly we'll see this creation of yours more often. Please paint the car after enjoying it and give it the best home he can get. Thanks again for teaching many things, not just about the car, about patience and attitude . Can´t wait to see the next project. Good luck.

My husband and I have watched it from the start and your talent we assume comes a little bit from your Dad. We thought that was really cool having your Dad driving it at the beginning of the video. Well done, had a lot of fun watching. Stay safe.

I mean words can’t be enough to thank you Dylan. I’ve been here enjoying every minute of each video from start to finish, you’ve done amazing work to the car and most importantly you chose quality over quantity. More KZbinrs should take notes. I would like to thank you deeply for that journey, hopefully we’ll see more amazing work to the car in the future.
