I am a hairy assed scot/irish man and we arent know for our mastery of our feminine sides lol. But I cried , at first of PURE sadness and then overwhelming joy. My dogs wouldve gave their lives for me (not that I'd ever ask them too) and give versa. When my 2nd boy died 5 years ago I came out the vet devastated. Now I'm just under 6ft crew cut and tho I dont go to the gym anymore n im not muscle bound but I played pro football all my life so im still reasonably fit and I've been called many derogatory things , skinny isnt one of them. Lol. But when I had to take my boy to have him out to sleep it was the worse day of my life. when your dog has passed and there are elderly women coming up to me and trying to cheer me up. 'd give up EVERYTHING I earned and accomplished just to have my dog in my arms again one last time

I did this with a backyard stray kitty. It took me six years to get to touch her. I would quietly sit beside her, feed her, and pretend I wasn’t looking at her. No sudden movements or loud noises, either. If I sneezed, she would take off and be gone for days. One day I touched her tail. For months that’s all I was permitted to do. Then her back, and her head, then... her most vulnerable spot, her tummy! She runs to me now and I call her name and there she comes from out of nowhere, purring loudly and laying on her back expecting a belly rub. I felt like the luckiest person on Earth when I finally got to touch her tail. I felt like Jane Goodall making contact with the chimps for the first time, 😂

Ha! I know a lot of people saw me out there while she was in the field. In fact, someone called the cops on me! When the mattresses were set-up, they thought I was a homeless guy who lived there! Once she moved to the orchard, many people assumed a lot of different things. A few people I met while out there would hit me up and ask if I had seen her or if something had happened to her. I'd tell them about our new spot in the orchard next to the irrigation sump - Danny

Sleeping Cat I wish I had the right words to comfort you ... I applaud you for helping him. What more could you possibly have done ? Your intentions are your truth. I can’t wrap my head around anyone poisoning an animal that is only guilty of struggle? Truth be said... it was human interaction that put him in that desperate position in the first place. Thank you for helping him🙏... I for one do not listen to the so called experts... I’m dealing with the same issue as we speak. I have been kind to a feral cat that I first noticed coming around last October. I live in a rural farm area so i imagine it was abandoned. I say that because I’m separated by acres from nearby neighbors so it’s unlikely a house cat would wonder over looking for food. I happened to be feeding young opossums that seemed to be without a parent so I left cat food out at night for them. They are thriving and I also set up a night vision camera to see their growth. That was when I realized I was also feeding a feral cat. This cat would show up after midnight and eat the cat food. I thought long about trapping it as I had trapped several cats before this one... young and definitely not feral ones because they came running to me when they saw me. Unfortunately those people who think dumping cats near farm areas is wise they certainly don’t factor in all the threats. We have coyotes and owls and hawks and eagles just to name the obvious threats. I also learned the shelters are overwhelmed with stray cats and often euthanized... sad. So I tried to catch this guy with a humane trap just to have him seen by a vet and check for a micro chip. I totally intended on keeping him and not sheltering him at all to avoid that trauma. I just kept trapping the opossums which are quite sweet by the way...I release them and repeat. I discovered this cat is very smart... street smart you might say. We came to an agreement that I would feed him and not attempt capture he seems to trust me now and will come within view if I call him. The squirrels alarm me when he’s there and I feed him on the spot. He sits about 10 feet from me and watches as I open the can of food and leave it for him. I’ve grown fond of him and give him his space. I’ve created shelters and always have fresh water and endless food for this little guy I call buddy. I can tell this guy does not want to be caged or captured so I will just love on him on HIS terms. 🥰 do what feels right... for me this is right..... bless you.

Watching a few will show you HOW CRUEL so called "humans" can be. And this Festival ist every year!!! (But unfortunately many chinese people don't need the Festival to abuse their pets!)... The owners whom abandoned this beautiful mama dog & those that stole her babies from her (probably sole those puppies for profit too😡🤬). Those people made Mama the way she was at the orchard (she lost all confidence in humanity at one point until Danny, Bless them both moving forward 🙏😭)

Most of these so-called rescue videos are staged. People put puppies in boxes, bags, pillow cases or anything to look like they've been mistreated and abandoned. Notice how there always is a camera at the right place to record the poor angelic puppy from a storm drain, landfill, empty house, etc. It's all designed to get viewers to donate $$. This video looks like the real thing but you never know...
