You're taking your life into your own hands there. Surprised the tower didnt accidentally yeet you off the edge or through the floor with rotting woodwork.

The main structure wasn't too bad, treated hardwood poles, good sized hardwood beams steps, and such, things like the dodgy rotting handrails make it look worse than it is... I'm always pretty cautious and I don't really take any risks....

If they cut it down they'd have to heli-lift/chopper the remains out, that would probably cause more damage that leaving it there, lol...

Its a fire watch tower I believe.. you weren't far from some real piners huts if you had of walked down the Pine Cove creek.

I dont think it was ever a fire watch tower, it was built with federal funding as an ecotourism attraction back 90's I believe.... I'm a bit cautious about posting vids of the really historic huts, lol...

How am I able to get here? What street/road do I need to be on to get there?
@FLICKITАй бұрын
It's up on the Teepookana Plateau, it's not accessible by road, the only way in there now is by boat up the King River, and then a decent walk.... Years ago I think there was a logging road in there but when the APT/Wilderness Railway was rebuilt for tourists it was built on the old logging road...

@@FLICKIT Bah -- do not associate my my trollhood with those mischievous no-gooders on that Web as you call it (I obviously have no association with even this "web"? What is this, what am I even typing on???). The devils we cohabitate with are great neighbours too, was very happy to have my pesky cousin eaten by one (as a sacrificial ritual of course, that way it's legal legit no scams $$$). Also my cousin was on duty when you were let in through awful security that I would normally uphold -- ignore the loophole that they died before this event, I am not responsible. ☻

I've been trying to work out how to reply to this but I'm just not creative enough, lol, all I can say is the devils up there must be huge, their many scats on the trail were BIG, maybe Tassie Tigers?, either way I think your cousin gave them the shitz, :o
