The crazy thing is, I went to that school as a child. It was still trashy as hell when I was a student there and it looks like it only got worse. This brings back so many memories.

Oh hell no!! I assumed this placed was abandoned sometime in the 1990's or 80's before the No Child Left Behind thing came up. What a run down dump- No Child Left Behind certified my ass.

Here in my town the old high school was closed and everyone went to where it is now around the 70s. For YEARS this huge high school building sat there with no use. Finally this year they decided to make apartments out of the building. It was an interesting place to explore.

This is bizarre like that house probably went to. It's as if they just dropped everything and left. Like a nuclear bomb went off close by, are they found something truly bad and I had to just leave. Those ovens still look good I'm sure they could have used them at another school. This is also very bizarre.

I don't know if you've been, but there was a great old amusement park in Arkansas called Dogpatch USA. I always wanted to go as a child, but never got to. It's closed now, but if there's anything left there and you love Lil' Abner and Daisy Mae then you could be in for a good time.

When I first saw the video, I thought it was abandoned in the 80's-90's. Then I see the 2006 mural and the 2008 newspaper and my brain kind of redirects itself that it would be logical for it to be abandoned in the early 2000's because of the chalkboards and the vhs tapes on the floor. I scroll through the comments just to discover that it was shutdown in 2014 and now I'm questioning everything.

Ok, so my thought is, That school was open in 2008. Does it not seem like it's so much older than that!?! What type of education were these poor kids getting.
