"It drove to the scene of the accident " Good one! I refurbished a bench grinder like that for my garage. The toolbox reminded that I still have mine from Cessna Hydraulic division, bought in 1979. I tried to buy a Chevy luv 4x4 when they were new, too young and not enough collateral. Thanks for the video.

Love seeing these old farm hoards. Seeing that ‘41 sedan reminded me of a mechanic that had a mint one that he had put a 289 in. After he retired, he reinstalled the original engine.

Bruce - I don't know where you live but the prices I see at some of the Midwest farm auctions are incredibly low by big city standards. I admit not all farm auctions are that way. I recently watched a video of a farm auction attended by a fellow from Nigeria who was there to buy used tractors for export to Africa. The prices at that auction seemed a bit higher than normal to me, but one measure of how low the prices were is that fellow bought enough of the older, smaller tractors to fill a 40 foot container, paid the cost of shipping the container to Africa, and still made a profit selling them in that impoverished corner of the world. This story also speaks to how well American farm machinery is made. Big Ag has driven production costs up to the point where farms of 3,000 acres and more are the norm. Large farms require large combines and tractors to work them, and large grain trucks to bring all that grain to market. Older, smaller tractors that have become little more than collector's items in America are still treasured in other parts of the world for the work they can do, and their ease of repair.

Usually why this happens is people die and have no extended family to leave things too so the state takes over for unpaid taxes and auctions everything off

Try backing off that star adjuster on the back of the drum. Hit it with a lil wd 40 or penetrating oil. Ok, Peanut gallery over and out. Also, I think the saying peanut gallery is offensive. i just sold my 89 gmc c1500 that was in very nice shape, new tbi 350, 4l60e previous owner restored it in 2013, drove it till 2016 then parked it.. i got it about a year ago, original o.d showed 344k..

I kinda wonder there mr goodpliers if they can get one of those PHD's in armchair mechanics and or body and fender since they know more than the person setting in front of the vehicle. It was just a thought. Now this is a question for the early fords.... the grill is or has either a single bullet or some had dual bullets.... I thought the singles were the six cylinder and the dual bullet grill cars had v8's in them?? Am I close as I had the single bullet grill and it had the number six in it and that is what the car came with/had in it

If ever I get a chance to sit down over a cold brew with you, I'll tell you about it. Second, I truly appreciate what you do. Almost without exception, the really nice survivor cars were plundered years ago. The cars you find are the odd models that have been sitting too long, that will take work to bring them back to life.
